Yes, but it feels awkward to me both mentally and physically to have lings and banes so far apart from one another. It's not something that I couldn't get used to, but it feels easier to do tapping with my fingers next to each other, and I'm already used to 9 and 0, so I don't really feel a need to switch. TBH, the "suggested usage of CGs" is one thing that I have pretty much ignored from the beginning.

It's actually much more intuitive with the way that Tab and Shift+Tab is supposed to work and it's faster to do than separating the function to two mouse buttons. Frees up M5 for you to do anything else you want, so I've been experimenting with Select All Army on M5. Exactly what I do as well! BackButton is more natural to me, so it's perfect for the next subgroup hotkey. The select all army on M5 is also awesome. So, when do we go to Beta? ![]()

Edit: I have identified the problem anyway, but it really helps when people specify the version they are talking about. Edit 2: It's a problem for every Terran and Random layout. I've notified Jak.

I've been doing something similar for next/previous subgroup with middle mouse button / ctrl + middle mouse button as I use a mouse with no side buttons. It has been working quite well after getting used to not using drag scroll, which at least makes me use the base cams a bit more.

Download the newest version now! Unless some crazy shit happens... this file should be TheCore 1.0. To avoid confusion before the release, we're going to push this file into beta and call it TheCore 0.7. Now its time to spruce up the OP, update the videos and graphics, get the visualizer working and up to date, fix the spreadsheet, and probably some other presentation things I'm forgetting. After the presentation is ready. We will release the long anticipated full version of TheCore. Compatible with both campaigns without any conflict messages or errors, optimized for competitive multiplayer Starcraft 2 games. 10 control groups, 8 camera location keys, idle worker, select all army, next and previous subgroup buttons, camera rotation, layered inject, optimized creep, chronoboost, warp-in, and rally cameras, with options for race and hand size, for left and right handed players, over 1000 motherfucking reported users, viewed over 400,000 times, with nearly 4,000 posts of discussion and debate approaching 11 months in beta development, and 1 full year of total development time. This is a community project. Every single person who has posted on this thread has had an impact on the development. With any one of us missing, TheCore would be a little different, a little less efficient, less complete, and less successful. We have created what I believe to be the most extensive undertaking in custom hotkey development in Starcraft 2. There will be a full article in an upcoming GLHF magazine release, but right now I want to thank everyone here for contributing to TheCore. This is our layout, and it's going to be around for a long time.

If they do not it would simply prompt the user if they wanted to update? If they choose yes, than it will download the latest version into the users appropriate hotkeys folder. I could even open the hotkeys folder after it gets placed there. The design is completely subjective but this would seriously be a simple program to create. Very light weight and fast.

9 Mutas 0 Main army - Infestors [ Vipers ; Swarm Hosts L Creep Queens I don't personally feel convinced about putting roach/hydra separate from ling/ultra. I feel like there's not a lot of situations where I have both of those compositions, and if I do, I kind of like having them in one army, and then manually splitting them if, say, I want to move my hydras to the back (with control click). As for banes being on a different hotkey, I just kind of put them on - when I feel like being fancy, but that's just for ZvZ. By the time I've ever gotten infestors out, I don't really need banelings to be singled out anymore. I feel very emotionally attached to having my creep queens on a separate hotkey, it makes me feel like I can defend more easily against air harass without having to pull all my inject queens, meh. Also, I like being able to quickly shift click my creep tumors. (Still haven't felt convinced to use Option 7 for my creep spread, minimap has seemed good enough) I have yet to find many situations when I need to put corruptors on a hotkey other than with my mutas. I either have one or the other, or I'm using mutas and corruptors for the same thing. To be honest though, I haven't had too much experience with them. I don't really understand what Ninjury meant about Swarm Hosts having four abilities (?). = and ' I for some reason never feel comfortable consistently hitting, which is partly why I haven't felt motivated to find a use for them. On a side note, I've taped a grain of rice each onto J and 0. Gives me some comfort that I haven't shifted my hand over accidentally in the middle of the game. (EDIT) Sick job to the Core dev team for doing a great job. Can't wait for when my hotkey setup hits the mainstream ![]()
