I usually have Core on 4 and tap through it (Nexus is 5 and Gates is 6) and drop the CB when the leaf disappears on Core when working through my tap cycle. I'll give the in-game timer a try and see how it goes. Thanks, Geiko. (It would certainly help when I have multiple research requiring CB such as on Forge and TC as there is no leaf icon when you have multiple buildings selected on the same hot key; I've been working off the notification or just the feel of the timing.) | ||

I stopped playing for about 2 months and now that i am back i am having trouble with PvP. I go for a blink stalker build with robo, then harash with my blink stalkers while i expand behind it. But most opponents go for 3 gate / robo and just overrun me with colli after a while, even if i tech to colli myself after securing my expo. What is a good build to counter 3 gate / robo ? That seems to be the most commen build in diamond at the moment. Thanks for the help. | ||

With 4 boosts on Warpgate tech you still have a buffer of 40 ingame seconds, so there is no need to line them up _that_ perfectly. Remember, one boost lasts 20 seconds and cuts off 10 seconds until completion, resulting in maximum reduction by 1/3 of original build/tech-time. | ||

If you can confirm him going colossus its going to be an all in most likely so expand to a base far away from your main so that he can't take both out at the same time. Then when he moves out just move into his base and start killing stuff. If he goes for a base race, you win. If he tries to go back to defend, you just flee and still have an economic advantage. | ||

This does however die to 4g wp. | ||
