I'm having trouble finding the melee map search in the Arcade. I just patched up to 1.5.x since my comp has been out of commission and I can't figure out how to use this. Is it gone?

You can find melee maps in the starcraft menu under 'costum game'. Some people publish their melee maps in the arcade, where they can often be found under the 'strategy' genre.

Whats the best way to use spell casters? I have a habit of queing up a move command when trying to carpet bomb toss with EMP's. Or often times the ghosts will just attack, and not fire their EMP's.

Do people not shift que up spells, and just rapidly single cast each EMP?

Im working on a custom map. Would any of you know why for any reason the first person to be invited into the lobby would be sent to player 3's spot? And why even if the player is moved to the other team, he still spawns with player 3's units causing unequal teams?

I have my map variables set and my player properties, but when i test my map 1v1, the other player spawns in player 3's location with player 3's units, and it happens regardless as to when I move them to the other team before starting or not.

Something weird, my map was working fine for a handful of games, then one game I let in a spectator and after that the game is incorrectly spawning players again every time I host it after. O_o Is something broken, how can I fix? Perhaps randomly assign players start locations at the start and align positions to alliances? How do I do that?

Is this forum only for people who need advice on creating custom maps or is it allowed to ask for help to play certain maps?

I am playing the custom map "The Rising Dead" and I need advice on how to get passed certain boss monsters. Is this the right forum? If not, which would be the right one?

Use the "Issue Order" action in your trigger. Set the unit to the ghost, then click on the ( before "Ability Command" and change it to "Ability targeting point". Then set the ability to calldown-nuke or whatever it is.

Okay, so there was a map a few months ago that I recall being somewhat similar to crossfire, although not as thin. I remember lots of greyish floors with darker highground, almost black. There was lots of neon green accents in the map as well. I also think it was a runner-up or third place in a map of the month at one point but I have completely forgotten the name...

Can anyone help me out here?

It's come to my attention that when you click "Play" in the Arcade to join my game's lobby, it just says "Waiting for players" at the top without entering a public lobby. Myself and a tester waited together and no lobby was created.

This is very disheartening considering I'm trying to unveil my map to the public and apparently nobody can join the game unless I make it and privately invite them.

In a melee map I made, placing any building (in the editor or game) will cause the terrain to distort as if I had used the terrain height tool.
