After all, it's a game. Play is what we came for.
I'm pretty sure HuK had a better training environnement being in the oGs house than he'll have with EG in korea. The only way this would be a good move for HuK, training-wise, is if EG was negociating an alliance with another team like SlayerS or IM (like TL did with oGs). We'll see, maybe something along those lines is in the works...
That being said, I don't see any reason to be mad, it's purely business. I see reasons being sad when I read the letters the Liquid members and HuK wrote to each other... but that's another story.

i wonder where huk is gonna train... a eg house with 3 member is gonna be lol esp since 1 of their guys doesn't speak any english.

Wow, major grats to Huk! starcraft 2 is about the players for me. teams are cool too, but primarily its the players. so news that huk is receiving a life changing amount of money and will live in a training house in korea with idra is just great.
Good luck man! Give em hell in the GSL.

Woooooooooooooo EG becoming a "Monster"
Can't wait to see HuK with the EG tag and how IdrA can improve from having PuMa and HuK around. Gonna be sickkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!
Good luck to EG, HuK and TL.

But clearly, this was a money issue. Bullshit. With the Sign&Trade they both got Max-Contracts.
Cavs would have payed him a max contract too fyi. It was about winning championships.

After all, it's a game. Play is what we came for. Why would he play better with EG outside the oGs-TL house, which arguably has the best training environment out of all SC2 teams in the world? I suppose a guaranteed 6 digit salary is monetarily better than a risky 6 digit earnings. Too bad, he had to betray his team and friends to do it and probably come out a lesser player too.
It's EG. It's more about the fame, popularity and hype than the level of play. Just look at Incontrol and how they acommodated him with the Lo3 with sponsorship money even though he hasn't won or placed well in anything meaningful since release.

Don't worry. He can train with axslav and everyone else that isn't idra and puma.
Same skill level as ogs I swear..

Huk!!!! Your so awesome best of luck with EG!

If you're a HuK fan, you should be happy that he's happy.

If Huk wins a tourney, it doesn't mean EG wins, it means Huk wins. This is like not supporting nadal because he switched sponsors to nike. And what about in cycling? There's only one winner, but the teams are very much responsible for who it is.
And what about the Olympics? Is it not logical to support your fellow countryman who you just heard of for the first time when you turned on the TV?

I wish you all the best HuK, I can "understand" that people are upset, but why would you be? If you like HuK for what HuK is you will respect his decision in changing teams. He's got to feed himself and if this is the better deal, it is the better deal, period.
I'm actually glad this happened because now finally, ESPORTS seems to slowly become a real sport. We have to thank EG in what they are doing for us, but I fear a lot of people are shortsighted.
It's a loss for Liquid, sure, but they will do well no matter what. Also, HerO joined at the perfect timing. Don't lose hope everyone and especially you HuK don't lose hope and never regret. You did the right thing.
Everyone can still be friends.

Are you honestly implying that it's better to live with EG and practice with them as opposed to OGS?

Huuuuk - you just broke my heart. You and TL were like a hand and a glove, fitting perfectly.
Although I'm not a fan of EG, I will continue to love you (and understand your decision). We hope you come back one day to where you started from!

Good luck Huk! Hope EG offered you a shit load of money, your worth it
Also, i hope DeMuslim is joining EG in Korea, he would be absolutely amazing with some korean training!

Liquid is like the Mavs: Team over Superstars = Success yep for sure. be funny if they EG vs Liquid and team liquid wins :o

Good luck and have fun with EG, HuK.
When life gives you a chance, use it. And when it's a huge one, don't look back. I have no idea how much EG will pay him and what level of support he'll receive, but if it's really "life changing" then this is his chance to truly turn his passion into a living or at least save up more than most other gamers can dream of.
Sad to see him leave Liquid, sure. But in the end I'll be rooting for him because he's HuK, not because he's on this team or another.

The next piece of news im looking forward to is which korean team EG is planning on forming an alliance with. Dunno how easy that is gonna be considering all the PuMa drama and the negative light shone on EG.
IMIdra? Mr.Chae the accidental prophet?
