This is hard. Dec has every single piece of info a scum would have assuming he's the DT. It would be easy to abuse the role and either name actual townies as townies, or bus his teammate to become the most trusted man in the game. But considering there's only two scum left, this wouldn't probably happen. Going back to the first part though, prolonging the game also benefits scum due to move speed increase.
Dec I don't trust you at all because the last two days you've been constantly setting off my scumdar.

Due to circumstances outside my control, I cannot be here at the deadline. Because of this, the next day post will be a few hours late, but the day will still end in at 20:00 GMT (+00:00). Sorry for any inconvenience this causes. Remember that votes and actions submitted after the deadline will not count. I was lenient Day 1 with the deadline, but will not be lenient Day 2.
During the break, I recommend that you all watch the Doctor Who episode "Blink" from Season/Series 3 and see what inspired this game of mafia. It is one of my favorite episodes of Doctor Who, and you can watch it even if you haven't watched an episode of Doctor Who before. I know it is available on Netflix and Amazon Instant Video and probably many other places as well, but I know those two off the top of my head.

I assumed that since it was included in Vivax's role PM, it does increase by some amount and could potentially increase for all 3 angels. At any rate, KP ensures that a long game favors scum.

Alright, I'm not sure I find the outcome of today's night actions as indicative of both oats and deconduo's alignments as they seem to find them, but unless there's a counterclaim I'm not going to vote for deconduo today.

since both scenarios require oats not paying attention to the post, the fact that he did in fact not realize how to move is not the part that's different between our two potential outcomes. Both outcomes assume oats glossed over this post.

His town oats scenario is what's bothering me. In that situation, the hosts saw that oats didn't follow the movement rules that were emphasized twice in the thread, and allowed him to use movement rules that were different than everyone else in the game. Contrary to what BH thinks I believe, I don't think that the hosts actually implemented different move schemes for each alignment. I think that either: the hosts made a mistake, or they simply allowed it because oats already knew where he was. As a matter of fact, when BH says "...all this requires is oats glossed over a post or two in the thread and the host saying 'ok, I understand what he sent me, no need to send him a snarky PM requiring him to re-send in his movement'", I feel that that more accurately depicts what would happen in the case of scum oats. Scum oats gains absolutely nothing from them using his instructions, while town oats is being allowed to move in a cardinal direction without knowing his location on the map (the very thing vivax was caught trying to convince us to do). It's true that both situations require oats to have glossed over those clarification posts, but only the scum situation explains why the hosts would allow him to use those move instructions - because he already knew where he was, and asking him to change his instructions would just result in him ending in the same location.
I'm open to switching my vote to someone who's not oats or deconduo, but I'd have to be convinced. Sharrant was looking particularly shady to me after his defenses of vivax, but marv did seem to be coming around to him(though marv didn't get a chance to comment after vivax's flip). He's where my focus would have been if all of this hadn't happened with oats, but I haven't gone too in-depth through his filter.
Also, the timer in the voting thread says that we have about 35 minutes left to the deadline, but I think we're supposed to have two hours on top of that. Which one do we use?

I'm sold on deconduo's claim. Billy Shipton is a police detective according to dr who wiki, and his earlier plans align with his role's powers. I say we leave both deconduo and oats alive.
I still dont like Sharrant; He is still tapping on the same key of oats' post. "I wanted to move here" could be interpreted in many ways and he chooses to interpret the one that makes oats scum - despite saying he liked oats' latest post so much. In fact the whole "I like this post but you are still scum" is really terrible for me.
And I don't like the idea of sheeping marv on this guy specifically. Marv said he was town without knowledge of Vivax's alignment(who sharrant defended hard) and a lot as developed since(mainly his insistence on the oats lynch despite the main creator of the argument - me - having dropped it altogether).

I'm assuming it's 2 hours, 30 minutes since that's where the deadline was last time. I get what you're saying regarding the possibility of scum oats, and I definitely see how it COULD be a slip. Of the people on oats at the time I made my post, you are unique fuba in that you didn't express a townread of any sort on him beforehand. I understand how your thought process went. If I had a scumread on a guy (or at least a non townread) something that could be percieved as a scumslip would definitely ring alarm bells for me. What I don't get is decon, ghost, and sent who all were like "yeah oats is probably / definitely / above the level of suspicion town" and see something that could be interpreted as a scumslip then get on his ass.
I'll admit there's a possibility Oats is scum, and I see how you thought. decon, ghost and sent I don't understand.
that being said, I believe decon's claim, at least for now. he'll probably be dead before he can get anything done.
There are two more players I want to lynch today, and they are Sharrant and Ghost.

yeah i've vaguely toyed with the idea of what would effectively be a lurker lynch on fferyllt. I gave him a pass because he seemed to be interacting with the thread but now he's doing things like this. I also give him some credit for being part of the last-minute voteswap both to decon and to vivax, when he could have easily stayed on decon.
