So Aatrox passive has been confirmed to be a weak revive mechanic with long cooldown. Seriously what is even the point I don't understand. Instead of something cool and interesting it's just the standard with some different paper rapping.

For those interesting in Aatrox's Blood Well passive
More Detialed Blood Well Passive: Upon taking fatal damage, Aatrox extracts the current blood in the well and recovers it as Health over 1.5 seconds. When using an ability that costs Health, Aatrox stores 70% of the self-inflicted damage into the Blood Well.
The Blood Well has a base of 35% of the max pool, 225 second Cooldown, and decays 3% of the well a second while out of combat. (Source)

Also while I'm at it why are all my games exactly 180 ping or exactly 240 ping totally at random. Is this an east cost/west coast server thing? I know nothing about computers. :S

I get exactly 180 ping too. I think it's a league thing since there's no way the ping is that stable at such an arb number when I get anywhere between 180-250 in Dota 2.

Okay what's the proper response to this situation:
I'm Irelia top vs. Vlad. I'm giving smiteless leash at blue and vlad starts pushing the lane before i get there. I just farm for a bit, letting the lane push slightly, planning on letting the wave reset at level 4 and then going aggressive. Naut does the 3:05 gank, no damage, i just back up to my tower. I have river brush warded, and naut is just gonna camp. My jungler is camping bot. Vlad shoves the wave to tower, and Naut just comes walking through lane. I back up behind tower into exp range but out of range of cs. Naut continues to just walk at me. My jungler is still bot despite me asking for help.
Do you:
- Leave tower and lose all the cs and exp. - Try to trade kills and hope to bury the junglers' buffs? - Something else I haven't thought of.
I traded kills, but I couldn't even go back to lane afterward. It became clear that I was going to die no matter what, so I tried to die before Naut (even giving up the first blood), but I died just after and Vlad got the buffs. Also, my team continued to not come top, and Vlad farmed another wave past tower. When I got back to lane, I was barely level 3, and Vlad was more than halfway to 6 with double buffs, and I couldn't do anything. I feel like that would have probably been the outcome no matter what, though. I'm just confused.

I use them on Kayle, Fizz, Elise, and Kennen. I bought them because I had 100K IP. But frankly, not worth unless you're satisfied with your champion pool and runes.

Hybrids are good on a lot of ranged/ pokey supports, but its hard to justify dropping 15k on them unless you have all da champs already

I use them on pretty much every AP mid and I think they're worth it. Easier last hitting, better auto harass. Perfect on Lux as she incorporates autos into her rotation.
It's a high price to pay for hybrids on just those champions. On Cho I would say it's not worth it. On Elise, sure.
Elise sucks at last hitting so every little bit helps, but all of her abilities are magic damage. I'm not sure where the math would put things between hybrid or flat pen. You're really just getting them for last hitting and occasional ranged harass help.
To get the most out of hybrid on Cho you have to auto your lane opponent. He doesn't need help last hitting especially once he gets E.

Not that I think it's some masterwork of creativity, but how is it 'just the standard?' Zac's passive has the delay of his blobs popping and getting killed or not, and Volibear's passive doesn't happen at death(and heals him for an amount that only varies with his HP). Aatrox's will be like a weird combination of both of those, and it sounds like it will have a weird sort of Poppy passive flavoring(all damage exceeding your current hp is reduced to 0 because it can't kill you, instead you are left with 1 hp and your heal kicks in). It also sounds like it could be fucking terrible if there isn't some front 'burst' to the heal, because any followup attack that is more than w/e the first heal amount is just kills you anyway.

You can be really fucked in your lane, just as long as your jungler does the same to a different lane. If their jungler applies more pressure on lanes then yours, it isn't your fault that you're losing your lane. If you strictly lose 1v1, it isn't your junglers fault you're behind in your lane.
If vlad is shoving, you should either shove back, pick a champion that can't get shoved in, or make sure your jungler is there to keep him off the turret. Atleast two of these options are entirely in your control, and if you picked your lane but didn't account for this possibility, it's still entirely your fault. Just so we are clear on all your responsibilities in a lane.

I'm fine with getting camped but this is the first time that I've been dived so boldly and I wasn't sure what to do after another wave had built up and I had 12-13 minions coming to my tower.

Meh I just thought it has potential and it turns out to so boring. Like making dying a mechanic or something instead of this thing that for the most part seems worthless but hey maybe it will surprise in practice.

There's no champion that can prevent being shoved to tower at level 3 once the minions start snowballing.
I've had junglers who when I tell them not to gank because there's a triple wave pushing at me, tell me to start pushing back. Yeah alright I'll just start tanking these minions that hit me for 300 dmg a second, I'm sure my opponent will be nice enough to sit back and leave me be.
With Purple side top often taking Wraiths/Golems, this is really common. A lot of champions can zone you off creeps when they hit level 2, and then you just have to wait because there's no way to approach the wave.
