I wouldn't be surprised if Jayce lost his bonus armor/mr in hammer form, since Nid and Elise both lost theirs. Wrong move imo. Let Jayce be Jayce, don't just gut his core gameplay aspect.. His core game mechanic is to have 6 awesome abilities. But players only really using 4 of them. And only 2 of them consistently in late game. I think his core gameplay is farming ridiculous amounts of money and obliterating people with EQ, and when the situation allows it, go ham on their asses with melee form. You're basically saying that you would like him to become more "jack of all trades, master of none" instead of the fun and exciting niche that he is right now. I disagree. I would rather die than let that happen That is currently his gameplay. The question is if that is adjustable without ruining Jayce. For example, right now is is too late to change Karthus from his Q,R, and death mechanics. On the other hand, most people would probably accept A change to Zed's ultimate. Additionally, no one has responded to my Eve critique.
I'm a fan of nerfing his melee form resists. His ranged form is the same as before, but his laning is much worse now and he really has to pick his situations before going melee form and utilizing all of his damage.

I really don't think his damage is in need of a nerf. If they make him a bit squishier (He already dies if he gets caught) I think he'll be fine.
He's a very strong pick now but not without counter picks. Anyone with good burst at 6 does well vs him (Fizz is a nightmare) and he can't spam EQ to farm without a blue (And let's be honest most mids can safely farm with a blue).
I really wish zed wasn't bugged at all stars, I really want to see if the pros woud have spammed him as much post nerfs.

But see thats not the problem with Jayce imo.
I think he just too safe for how strong he is late game and how well he can snowball if he gets a lead. Most champions in game either safe, or risky snowball.
I think its stupid that he loses zero lanes straight up, and even if he makes big huge mistakes he can just trololol EQ waveclear and get CS regardless.
For me it isn't a numbers thing, it is a he's good at everything thing. He safe, he snowball hard, he solid lategame. Need to make him less safe, and without changing his kit drastically I think best way to do that is to make his EQ do 50% damage to minions similar to Pantheon E which was changed for the same reason way back when despite it's range being like 1500 less.

Jayce only weakness it that he's pretty poor in an all-in 1v1 situation, but outside of this he's incredibly strong and clearly has a little bit too much.
I'd like Riot to change his ranged W so that Muramana deals just a part of its damage, just like his autos. Atm it's such a crazy one point wonder...

Garen's spin also does half to minions. I bet with where the game is at right now, they'd take that off him and pantheon before they added it on jayce. Or kha.
