You can build an advantage before then, and then rotate back into more conventional lanes with an advantage when you can't suppress them further. Viktor is the only one I can think of that would be able to clear that fast at all (safely, at least). Technically morgana, morde, cass, and maybe a few others could pull it off, but they would need to manipulate the wave in such a way that they would get harassed really hard.
ziggs lux galio gragono zyrah diana and a couple more... the lane is too short and safe to punish with 2v1 imo

Anyone played Nami yet? I was thinking about picking her up since she looked cool but looking at her kit she seems kinda bad. She doesn´t seem suitable for mid but I guess she could work as a support.
Is she worth picking up?

I tried playing Nami on the PBE, took (probably) horrible masteries, lagged around for 3 minutes or so, then the PBE crashed and put me back into the 45min queue.
nothx.

AS Yango stated, there's no need to keep the lane 2v1 post level 5, but up until that happens, you can put your own AP carry decently ahead. The problem is that if the jungler helps shoving the lane while you swap, the advantage might be gone, but that would have to be tested.

Its like you didn't even read my post which he was responding to.

The amount of people who hate if you first pick top or mid is mind-boggling, player skill is far more important than what match up you get.
|
karma can clear pretty decently 1v2 not sure if that starts up at lvl 3 or lvl 6 though. and karma would be a much stronger mid in s3 with the plethora of good support items.

He ends up taking lee sin top and got destroyed, after threatening to go soraka jungle. -_-

AS/Crit/MS is like, why wouldn't I just build PD instead? For 300 more gold you get more AS, more Crit, 1% less MS but get "ignore unit collision" instead of the 4 target 100 magic damage proc. I mean, I guess it's nice that it builds out of Avarice for people like GP or Trynd, but eh.
I've been musing a lot on the removal of FoN. For non AP users, what are your big MR items now? SV, Mercurial, Banshees, and I guess Maw. FoN used to be my "go to" big MR buy on a lot of tanky characters, I don't know what'll replace it.

Presumably, that also means a big-ticket MR item?
also, I think banshees is a pretty good choice if it gets a few qol buffs.

Most AP damage is burst damage which means that HP is just as useful as MRes (which is why there's only one item that gives MR and HP, and thanks to spellshield it's had to be nerfed mutiple times). If you're like Olaf or something, just stacking HP works alright. A raw Negatron itself is also not bad. Could always just Negatron stack if you have the inventory slots.
As an AD Carry Mercurial is still nice and having to get Clasp into Mercurial still works out alright (although suppression still a problem).

Um was sunfire cape randomly nerfed back to magic damage instead of true damage? That's what thst pbe shop site seems to imply... Cause you know, so many people buy it and all.
|
It's supposed to be magic damage. I don't know why they'd change it to true.
