You can valk out of Blitz hook, but it requires extremely specific timing. Most of the time you'll just get reeled back in.

Is there any way to tell if you have a ribbon other than champ select and the load screen?

Ez E is 100% you press it you will get there.
Corki W is like if something sneezes you get stopped.

That's basically why most dashes can't get through thick walls but most blinks can.

Nidalee, even though she doesn't dash, can jump a wall when there's no thick wall facing her, but she can't do it to the same wall the other way around.
You know what? I'm just wrong about everything. http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Dash Trist's jump is a dash. TIL.

Yeah it turns out having the best escape of any AD carry will keep you high like that. there is this one guy named corki and he has a pretty good escape Valk is no where near Arcane shift. why oh the other guy listed some reasons does valk not override blitz hooks? because it works the exact same as ez e vs say, a taric stun just goes farther Only reason it works so well vs. taric stun is because of how damn slow that gem projectile is. Pretty sure corki just outruns the thing.

Given riot's coding practices, I would be surprised if half of those dashes in the same grouping in that wiki page were actually programmed the same way. Like I've seen multiple videos of amumu glitching across the map with his bandage toss, but yet to see a leona video do the same.

This is not true, the reasons for Ez explosion is not about people sucked at him Graves was nerfed, Ez W was buffed, Q was buffed, Urgot was nerfed, Double support was nerfed. Graves and Urgot were just plain better carries than Ez in lane and mid game. Ez was still popular before the Graves and Corki nerfs, that was when the Holy ADC Trinity was in full force. After the nerfs to the other two Ez became the obvious go to choice.

The west was basically blind to how strong Ezzy was until Doublelift brought it back, but that doesn't mean Ezreal was bad.

Thing about Amumu is that his bandage toss will always move his model through the terrain. So if his final model position ends up in a place where he can't be (ie. inside a wall) the game will glitch. Difference with Leona is that when she uses her E, her model disappears for the duration; in other words, Leona's E acts more similar to Ez E whereas Amumu bandage toss is more similar to dashes.

Ez was thought to be terrible for a long time in part because his mana costs used to be prohibitively high. After Riot lowered his mana costs Ez was in a very good place, but the West didn't catch on to that and still operated under the assumption that he sucked.
Even without his W aspd debuff, he still has meets the standard for a good AD carry. He has a reliable escape/repositioning skill, good AD ratios, solid poke, and a good steroid.

TGA Finals (linked the Flash restream since people were having issues with the Tencent stream yesterday). First time a Chinese event hasn't had a WE vs. IG finals in quite a while. Tabe's new team, Royal, beat IG to get to the finals. Their solo laners seem somewhat mediocre. Their bot lane is extremely strong (riding on Tabe's experience)--and it will be interesting to see how they perform against Weixiao/Fzzf (even if they lose, being able to put pressure on Weixiao+Fzzf is something most teams in the world are not capable of).

Tabe as in Mikako Tabe? As in best AD carry in China before Wx? Didn't he retire?
Also, M5 really popular in China.

Yes, it's MikakoTabe, though he hasn't played AD for a long time--was support on NA/OMG (and still is support on Royal), and was actually known more for his Blitzcrank in early S1 (when he was still on HKEGG and Knob HK played AD).
With Wh1t3zz' retirement, Tabe is now the most experienced LoL player in China.

You know, this is a mentality i see more oftern now, and its troubling. I dont like it when people play without any interaction with the others. Why play a multiplayer game where you act like you are playing single? Ok, other people are better than any AI to play against, but still. I think it shouldnt be encouraged to unhumanize the game.

You should make a CN thread cause 99% of us are clueless as to what goes on there. I'm serious.
