I gotta be honest, I wish Shaco was never invented.
I don't think Riot can do much with him though :S since if they nerf him he'll kinda be like an Eve perhaps? idk. Maybe increase CD? (Especially his Q)

The thing is shaco is only capable of taking advantage of a laner being stupid. He doesnt have the same burst/ganking sheer strength like maokai, rammus, or lee sin, characters who dont need you to be out of position to get a kill. They can just go to you and kill you in lane.
Comparatively, shaco has much less cc potential and has to rely on you being pretty far extended.
The thing about shaco is his mobility through q allows him to move about the map faster so that he can take advantage of a lane being a moron a lot easier than anyone else, save maybe rammus.

You probably misinterpreted my post.
For one, I'd never advocate trolling people by typing obnoxious stuff in chat. Its not even funny, just plain annoying.
I meant in playstyle - sidepushing hard when they try to bunch up and push a lane, blocking off escape paths with boxes, generally spreading out boxes then ambushing them (I once teleported over a box that feared their mid who was returning from blue lol) and just using your ult to mindfuck people. I just find shaco to have crazy creative potential - maybe the highest among all champions.
Also about being squishy - I probably build one of the most tanky shacos to be useful in teamfights. You don't need 5 damage items to melt their carry.

Duuuuuude, xerath is really really good, with a supportive organized team he would be ridiculous...just carried hard the last 2 games...17-4
It did take me about 15 games to get used to him for some reason, I fed hard for about 8 games, which I like never do even when starting a new champ, then broke even for a few, last few have been crush mode. Maybe this is why you never see him played. Its wierd, I play a ton of AP and i was failing with him at the beginning.
The best thing is scaling into lategame when people build MR and you have like 80% magic pen in siege mode, impossible to stop. Ult gets to like 30sec with 1.8 ratio if you hit 3.

Dont get me wrong, I think shaco is a very good champion.
The problem I have is with players who fail to understand WHY certain champions may or may not be op. Most people get wrecked by shaco and fail to understand that it was either a) their own fault, or b) because the enemy shaco knows the strengths of the champion and how to spot opportunities and be mobile on the map.
Objectivly, a shaco gank isnt that strong, especially when compared to other jungles. The problem is that shaco ganks can come from odd angles and at odd times. And people who are unable to recognize that shaco changes the way you need to be aware of the map suffer.

The actual reason why Shaco is so strong is because he's banned so much.
The strength of Shaco is the flexibility within jungle and gank paths. Your gank is strong at all times, not just certain points in the game IE Maokai reaching level 4. You have no idea if Shaco is right behind you. But if you constantly play against it, you will know when Shaco is near you
As soon as you know all of the Shaco paths and behaviors, then it becomes something along the lines of "just another jungle gank."

Yeah, I used to really fail hard when I played vs a team that had a shaco but now that I'm playing him so much I am much better at avoiding those ganks. If you're observant enough you can avoid getting killed. Then again most shacos I've seen are hilariously bad.
Edit: also until I started playing him I had the same opinion as RogerX. Even now, though I find his really good and rewarding to play, I absolutely hate it when there is a shaco on the other team. Its just the same with all stealth champions really, they force you to adapt your playstyle and its really annoying, more because most players in the game don't and then they feed those champions.
