Actually, Shaco is the most imbalance champion in the game seriously. I don't understand riot sometimes : Eve's stealth takes 1,5 second to kick in and that cd can be reboot anytime by one damage, twitch need some time too... Why is shaco has a stealth that not only is instant, but also teleport him ? That's the most op shit I ever saw.
I don't even know how to prevent a gank from him, if he is good enough he will not take a normal path and any ward will be useless.

his ganks are worse than rammus's his team fight dps is comparable and he has no defence steroid. i think you are just buttfrustrated rather than skarner being some god mode champ

His skillset is dependent on autoing and spamming his abilities, but with Q being double the price before, he'd run oom. Now, he can spam it and clear at the stupidest rate.
The Fracture healing on kill thing was also big, if you mis-timed it before, it would be a waste.
And of course the AS buff synergyzing with his kit. ~.5% per level.

i agree, his Q is the biggest change of it all. If you played Skarner it'd be obvious how powerful this spell is at such a low cost, pretty much no one can escape you if your inrange of your Q.
Just maybe increase his manacost a little bit?

fracture healing isnt a buff directed at him, if you look thats a global change to all abilities that apply healing marks on targets. QoL change not a skarner buff.
i dont believe skarners clear rates are that obscene, and he is hurt the most by giving up blue over any other common jungle. so having this spammable style is a double edged sword

With regard to changing Skarner--I can see why they changed the Q mana cost to not scale--but I don't see why they cut 7 mana from the cost ON TOP of that.

The biggest buff was the mana cost reduction and the 0.25 duration increase on his ulti. The latter was a good buff considering how 1.5 seconds is retardedly short for an ultimate. The mana cost buff is retarded. Skarner now basically doesn't use mana. Riot can't completely undo the changes because then Skarner's costs are just too prohibitively high; imo changing the mana costs from 15 to 20 would help. Honestly though, his kit is kinda the same problem Riot faced with Xin Zhao; it's inherently imba/easy to use so balancing it is a terror. His passive of autoattacks = cdr is just ridiculous and is a large part of what makes him so strong.

However I think they went overboard with buffing him.

Also I love taking smite-teleport on shaco. With other stuff like PD/Tri force and maybe mobility boots (if they don't have too much cc) you can be everywhere at once.

ok I just tried out nocturne and he's sooo good. Like the steroids from his q are insane + the bonus attack speed and spell shield from w is no joke either. With just zerkers and wriggle's he does crazy damage. He's got nice pushing power mid game, jungles fairly fast and has insane ganks. Thank god people don't pay him that often.
