Want to rage about your latest loss? Use the QQ thread. If you whine in GD, you'll get warned. - Neo, 9:49 KST, Nov 9th |

Evelyn, because she just sucks
eh I don't really think there are any reallllly hard champs, but there are certainly ones where there is a massive difference between great play and just proficiency. TF is pretty hard now to do well with, but thats mostly just because he was overnerfed pretty hard. Nidalee has a pretty tricky skillset to really master, Leesin and Vayne are also very hard to play optimally. Karma is also odd.

Disregarding champions that just plain suck, normal karthus (not tp/revive) is pretty hard to play optimally. You basically have to have amazing positioning/awareness/game sense to tell when you can go in to teamfights, since you have no mobility at all but have to get in range to do damage.
Anivia is also similar, but she has the benefit of her longer range.

And my team wouldn't ward for me to tele, so oh well. We lost dragon twice? Try warding next time.
Coulda tele'd to minions/tower, but Irelia should be in the middle of a fight from the time it starts. People so dumb. =\

id say the hardest is Cassiopeia because learning her range is the hard part

Is it just me, or do instapops result in losses a lot more frequently than normal q times. I always seem to lose instapops or whenever someone dodges, then the q pops fast again.

Guise is garbage just stats for gold, not to mention the slot cost.

Guise is "ok", there are just a lot of better items for cost and slot. :X
They really need to have Guise build into something bigger.

1k value on the hp and ap, rest is the magic pen. that's wildly inefficient, 20 magic pen is not worth 500 gold no matter how you cut it. Even if you don't consider 1:1 pen and resist values a fair method of computation compare it to brutalizer, which has 15 resistance reduction for 45 gold.

This is how I feel with almost every intermediate item. I want to want to build them, but they just aren't good enough.

Blink dagger has the taken damage clause which is awesome, but yeah probably would have been weird cause everyone would buy these instead of merc treads .. so cc reduction gots to come from somewhere else.

I find annivia to be harder. Her wall is unforgiving, she has a harder time w/o blue, the stun flies really slowly, and you have to explode it just at the right time to maximize damage output.
With Karthus I find I am most of the time (without revive and teleport ) just ignoring defensive stats, getting stupid amounts of ap, and in teamfights just turning my aura on, running into the middle and spamming away, using my ult after death. Yeah I will die, but I will deal a ridiculous amount of damage before and after. Of course I don't die on purpose just for the sake of it, but when I know I will deal enough damage to be worth it I will do it.
Karthus is not easy though, but he cant screw over your own team with a poorly placed wall.

lol im watching loci's stream
opposing team's summoner 1 picks pantheon 2 sec later message from voyboy: hey what masteries to pantheon
then loci just gave legit answers while brutally counterpicking him with armor malphite + advising own jungler to get rammus lol

Should I buy rivens or lee sin?

Both characters take quite a bit of skill to play properly and both are very different. It really depends on if you want to be a jungler (Lee Sin's role 90% of the time) or a top lane bamf. I am a pretty big Riven player and she carries really hard late game which is why I play her ranked quite a bit. Lee Sin can do the same but I believe the Jungler is more team-dependent. I suggest watch some Replays of voyboy or westrice playing riven and some replays of an awesome lee sin and see which style suits your playstyle more.

Ehh, I shoulda thought of using the Letting off Steam thread, my bad.
Anyway, I've been thinking of getting Kennen. Hes not too good apparently (little to no use and I don't think too many pros like him, and he isn't very high on any tier lists iirc).
Is he still viable enough to keep up with guys like Brand/Cass?
Edit: Just saw he was mid tier 2 on Elementz list. Not too bad.

I love kennen. He fits in every team, lanes like a boss, carries like a boss, and if you are good, you WILL win games.

From the sounds of it, the new champ will have an hourglass ability and the ability to tag people with fish so they get eaten by a shark. I hope they make unique death animations for this so that the body is just gone when the shark gets the kill, but it's probably too much work.
