Is it dropping the whiskey into a beer like a car bomb, or something else? it's just a shot of whiskey mixed with beer and stirred with a peice of ice in korea normal hip hop clubs you can drink whatever but in night clubs you can only get beer/whiskey so you are forced to drink those poktangjus (beer bombs)

"now drink, one shot no stop"

Ive been a fan of TL for a long time and decided to make an account =] All of what Rekrul says is right. ESP the part where he says that all of that does not apply when you are broke. A night like he described can break 1K USD EASY. This is a bit of a word of warning to those that are planning to stay in Korea for an extended amount of time. All of what Rekrul described is great for the occasional visit/stay/if you are really rich. However, do not expect to be doing this forever. 1) It gets really, really expensive 2) It gets boring. WHAT? ALL THAT CAN GET BORING?! Yes. Yes it does. Some of you may think that Korea is some mecca of nightclubs and bars and easy girls. Korea certainly does have its fair share of nights and bars and easy girls, but so does every country. Its great to hear about and experience (for awhile) to the outsider, but to the person who lives there its just Seoul. The clubs get old, the nights get old, and the girls who come to nights (everyone here posts that Korean girls are easy because they all seem to be night goers. Just like in any other city, girls going to nights are a certain type of girl. They know what theyre going for just like the guys, and after awhile you begin to see a lot of familiar faces at the nights.) After awhile the guy who says "lets go to night!" is like the guy who is always like (in the US) "lets go to the strip club! lets go to the club!" For the people here who are expecting to stay and are expecting life to be like this everyday, dont. But that is not to say that Seoul becomes boring. Not at all. There is ALWAYS something to do in Seoul. After you get out of the night phase, Seoul becomes like any other city. You go to work, make some friends, go out for some drinks and good food afterwards, hang out, maybe hit the PC bang, watch a movie etc. On the occasional weekend you may go to the nights and bars or whatnot, but it certainly is not a daily thing. Rekrul I didnt want to seem offensive to you in this post. i was just posting another perspective on your view. =] Im in the States studying right now so Im not in Seoul atm, but one of my friends said NB closed. Is that true? EDIT: Um crap. Rekrul basically said all of this in his last paragraph. Sorry -_- But I would like to note that the cultural/historical stuff is actually really interesting, and I certainly like to take a mountain hike every once in awhile. Korea terrain is very breathtaking. But that is only for those interested, and I could see how it may not be for many people =]
