In any case, I think it'd be interesting to see if Rekrul still thinks korea is only for weeks or months and that it's lame for years. You know, see if he's found anything new.

I'm trying to do about the same thing except it's in China since I speak the language ok, but it looks like this kind of girl-switching bars Rek speaks about don't exist there. Clubs are terrible because it's too loud to speak and I suck at dancing so it's basically gg no re. The best solution I've found out until now is to get invited to KTVs but it's pretty limited since I can only sing 3 songs or so and it's difficult to get invited EVERY evening when you don't know a lot of people yet. But i'm pretty sure the legendary Path of the Night is universal, all I need is a chinese Rekrul to show me the way and I'm ready to watch my life go to waste.

![]() And north of the river really isn't that bad. Of course south of the river is cleaner and more expensive. But you still have the two best uni student areas in Seoul:신촌 and 대학로 (Sinchon and Daehanro), THE clubbing area 홍대 (Hongdae) and a bunch of other interesting places like 명동 (Myeondong), 종로 (Jongno).. I will prob write a guide for normal people visiting Seoul. ^^ edit: ohkay I just read the guide again..... 레크를님...언제 한국에 돌아와?..... Take a few shits, order some food, but not chinese food because chinese food in Korea is worse than chinese food in China. So true. If you converted the internet phenomenon of "facepalm" into Chinese food, you would get the Korean 짜장면 (Jajangmyeon).

If you are Asian and can't speak Korean, they'll probably look down upon you. If you look at all Japanese, they'll probably hate you.
