BTW, it turns out that the UK EU election, after the Brexit referendum, was also compromised. Many EU citizens living in the UK were blocked from voting today. The UK should redo the election, but now allow everyone to vote.

I think that's a bit sad. It's like going to the grocery store never looking at anything but milk, bread and ham. You could've checked which parties are taking part! Don't take this as an attack, just a friendly reminder for the next elections ![]() That some European voters were blocked from voting is not just sad, it's unacceptable. I read about brexit and British politics since around November and have obviously seen some blunders. But this isn't pissing away money with a bad ferry deal, this is neglecting the basis of democracy. Even hardcore brexit people should look at this and see it.

Somehow Remain haven’t managed to channel anything even close to as cohesive, despite plenty of people myself included being extremely pissed off at the possibility of leaving.

I don't believe it to be less hilarious that farage got a sugary drink thrown at him. The power dynamic between Bush and the shoe thrower was different as the former just invaded the latter's country (I suppose), which is why it can be interpreted as a desperate act of defiance. Whereas farage needs to be grounded to stop his delusions that the country backs his stupid decisions. Regarding the old guy, I find it rather overboard. Though he took it with a good humour and more dignity than farage could muster up all his life. If you read his statements in the telegraph you could say he's the antidote to outrage politics.

What delusions though? I don’t think it’s the majority of the country today if there’s a second referendum, it’s still a really sizeable amount of folks. The antidote to outrage politics isn’t the victims of it taking it in good grace, it’s idiotic twats taking a look at themselves and their ridiculous worldviews. It’s the EU, a flawed institution even if you like it on balance, some people act like voting to leave it is like telling them you voted for the right to kick puppies in the face.

Mr veteran milkshake victim could have completely made the thing up, it still rings true as part of a wider trend, least to me anyway. I don’t like the view that some people propagate that around 50% of the adult population of the UK are stupid, bad people or both anyway just because I don’t agree with it, secondly pragmatically because it gives victim fuel to them to accomplish goals I don’t want them to accomplish, such as Brexit.

Would lead to a Labour Coalition with Lib Dems and SNP (If they were interested) but Brexit Party would get 100 seats from what I can tell.

No surprise. Its been a nightmare Theresa, I appreciate probably nearly as much for her as it has for the entire rest of the country. I'm glad she's gone.

the end of her speech was a bit hard to watch. i don't know how she lasted that long in the job, given the impossible situation she was in.

Would have been nice if she tore strips out of people, extremely unlikely but still. Think she had a borderline impossible job that she somehow managed to make harder, but would not have begrudged her that at all.
