I partook in "THIS IS SPARTA" as well as "Why so serious?" good times:D

On my AP Gov exam I wrote and then crossed out a paragraph on the importance of a dictatorship by the proletariat, but I didn't know other people did things like this.

I explained evolution by diagram, using the evolutionary adaptations of Squirtle -> Wartortle -> Blastoise.

drew all the starters up to 3rd gen :D

If I remember correctly, they don't take off points for what's written a lot of the times. You don't even need to cross things off. I've written some pretty inane things on my ap comparative government exam... hey, it was free since I was taking AP US gov, but I didn't have a comparative government class.

Did you not get units? I entered university with 24 units. They advise you to take 16 units per quarter. I instead took 12 units per quarter for my first entire two years almost because of the extra units I had. Makes college life a lot easier.

"do you like fishsticks?" on the front page "if you do, then you're a gay fish" at the end

I should dig up an old copy of the comp sci test... it'd be interesting to see it again having had 3 years of software design since I took it

Yeah my stats teacher has been grading for a good number of years and is the chief statistics grader for the AP exam this year.
He frequently conveys how amusing it is when students write funny things, especially on the occasion when they're trying to be serious but turns out to be dead wrong.
my point being, it just lightens the mood, as long as it's in good taste. grading AP exams is actually a very tedious process, akin to slave labor really (ok in reality its nothing like that but conceptually it's the same)

I drew a reaver on AP calc :D I got a 4 LOL

it's only funny if (1) you don't cross it out and (2) still get a 5.

I actually wrote a funny paragraph in the middle of the LSAT writing portion, because no ever reads it and there is no grade for it. I remember the essay prompted us to compare which summer job some dude should take and I wrote that he should take neither of the jobs offered and instead choose a more rewarding career like being a clown, professional video gamer or patent attorney. I was kinda pissed at the test at the time and I thought I had scored lower than before, but to my surprise I actually scored higher. In the end, I doubt anyone actually read my essay though.

Because I had extra time and I felt like dicking around on the tests that I could on, namely because of the inherent uselessness of the classes. English Lit. focuses on Western canon and ignore the rest of the world (thanks Bloom). Not to mention the inherent stupidity of grading someone's essay that is crammed into a time limit, with no/little revisions, and etc. When was the last time you wrote a good college paper under those conditions? Comp Sci was just easy and I had to do something to pass the time.
|
So my AP Eng Lit teacher was one of the graders.. and at the end of one of my essays I wrote a note saying something to the extent of "hey can you say hi to Mrs. Swovelin for me?"
I visited my high school the next year and Mrs. Swovelin told me this story about how some grader told her that one of her students had written her a "hi" note on the test.
Easily scored a 5 .

Ok I'm a junior taking two ap classes right now. 1.Ap Spanish(This should be easy seeing as how I'm hispanic but those accents are annoying. ) 2.Ap Bio(I should pass this with at least a 3. I took bio honors last year anyway. -__-) Does anybody have experience with any of these tests? How should I prepare for them?(One of those prep books I suppose?) Back on topic:So this year, I might use: "I'm really happy for you and Imma let you finish but grading my essay will be the best of all time
I'm from Miami and me and most of my friends are hispanic. It's the easiest test ever created. You don't have to put any accents and you can get a 5.
