well, it runs at over 110 fps for me while rift ran at around 60, both without AA. With AA rift was at like 40 and swtor is at only 50 since i have to use outside-methods atm (but these look better than rifts ingame settings)
I cant promise you any fps, but the engine swtor uses is more effective than Rifts gamebryo for sure.

I can deal with the bugs in the game, seems abit rushed by EA but the EU server Maintance times will realy need to be fixed. Apart from that Last nigh my SI healer hit level 30 and has thier last name which i chose "Suun"

They have already said every other week they are taking servers down at bad times for NA then the next week will be EU.
Personally I don't see why they don't take down NA servers at night, then EU at night their time. But they want to do it all at once so get used to it for now.

Sure, there is always Raiding and PvP but the majority of people who are taking their time to watch these stories just don't come across as people interested in raids or pvp to me. I can see additional FPs/Ops/Warzones but I doubt they will be pumping out fully voiced and animated quest movies for each of the 8 classes outside of paid expansions.
Although i somewhat agree with you, people who enjoy the story lines can just keep making alts if that is the experience they want. Like they have said The old republic has enough story content to be 8 knights of the old republics.
That being said , i am super enthralled with the story but was a heavy raider in wow and am looking forward to raiding in SW TOR as well.
Liking deep rpg storylines and raiding are not mutually exclusive, and should i feel the need for more story i will make an alt and experience a completely different story.
Just hit level 26, i derped it at 25 and bought the level 40 speeder for 25k instead of the level 25 speeder, then i mentioned how i derped it in general chat and a level 40 sent me 25k just like that, nicest thing someone who i didnt know has ever done for me in an mmo
Is there a way to go back to the republic fleet without having my own ship yet? I am at Coruscant but can't find a way to go back to the republic fleet.

you can go to the coruscant starport to get back i think, but an easier way is to just go to your abilities menu and then go to general and click on republic fleet pass it has a cooldown of almost a day, but its an easy way for a straight teleport back there.
Ist this as mindnumblingly easy as WoW has become? If it's somewhat challenging (in every aspect of the game) i concider buying it, if it's not i won't bother.

Instances so far in my experience have been reasonably challenging. Your story quests aren't, but that's okay in my book.

Oh man I had some trouble with a couple bosses in my storyline (jedi knight) once I got to 25 I think was a bit challenging iirc. Its not amazingly challenging but I have had some tough boss fights that took me a few times to beat.
Idk if its as easy as WoW considering this is the first MMO I have actually played a lot like getting to 37 already . But I mean if you aren't into story's or anything then I don't know if I would recommend this game to you.

WoW in patch 4.3 had a blue post stating they were happy with the way the game was working out in response to a post from somebody saying they had never killed an end boss in any expansion before, but killed deathwing in a PUG on release week. I will never touch that game again, ever.
What motivation is there to get gear, to improve my character, to optimise, to theorycraft, if i can see all of the content without doing any of it?
Sure, you get better gear, but the existance of a super easy mode in the first place makes that gear worthless in my eyes. You dont actuly need it in order to see content even two or three tiers ahead of you if you play half decently.
Any MMO worth playing, in my eyes, has to have something to strive for, a challenge, a way to improve and do things easier (increasing DPS levels at a time where your raid is trying to progress) or generally make meaningful changes to your character, a way to win battles with brain where most others would fail... If that doesnt exist, it just feels like facebook 3d to me, and what enjoyment is there in beating a challenge that wasnt a challenge in the first place?
A few years ago, after missioning in EVE and doing some grinding in a few other games, i decided that if i could spend >50% of my playing time in the game watching a movie on a second screen without notably hurting my performance, the game wasnt worth playing to me. I will stand by that.

Considering WoW is a fking walk in the park now it's not anywhere nere as easy. If we talk vanilla WoW, pre tbc then WoW was harder.
As stated before, the instances are quite challenging, aswell as some of the story quests.
EDIT: To make it clear, I have no experience of end game content in SWTOR, not many have. So regarding the difficulty in endgame we'll just have to wait and see!
Is anyone playing a Jedi Sage? what do you think of the class? i really loved playing priest (both shadow and holy/disc) in WoW and i hope the Jedi Sage will be something similar. I'm only lvl 11 so far.

I played a Sith Sorcerer (the sage mirror) to lvl 30. I chose sorcerer over sage because I just can't stand the Telekinetic Throw animation (rock stream). The class is, however, the closest to the traditional caster (the healing spec is basically a discipline priest) so if you're into that kind of thing it'll suit you just fine.

Is SWTOR one of those games?
Wow.. That could really be written just like that from me. Talk i had 2 days ago with my Flatmate:
Me: "Why are you still playing this boring game?" Him: "The new patch! (He allready cleared norm. guild. 10 man)." Me: "So now your just doing the same stuff again but every boss has 1-2 moves more, isn't that stupid?" Him: "No, that’s not the same and I don't know why you are hating that much on WoW." Me: "Well (your entire reasoning about challenge/content)". Him :"Duh, but the people." Me: "FACEBOOKGAME!" . .
:D.
He yesterday came to me because of SWTOR, I would like to play with him again (we played Wow thru classic/tbc and later early cata together). But I don't want to play a glorified Facebook-Game again -.-.
