The issue is that I look at the map where something is and then I have to check every time I lose my orientation. I'm not talking about the quest icons, just walking somewhere. If I know it's to the north from where I am now I could just follow the mini-map to north but there is no compass so I have check the bigger map over and over again. After some time I know the surroundings well enough to walk without a map but it's already too late ![]() Also the rectangular shape means you can/can’t spot something depending on your alignment to it (facing it you have shorter range).

I also went for social interaction first, and it seems to be a good idea since it helped with several dialogues so far. Not sure if it's necessary, but is very useful. I'm still in Detroit (right at first boss) but so far my strategy has been to leave several points unspent (usually 2-3) and only use them when I come across something I'm unable to do. So far it has allowed me to upgrade arm strength when I needed to lift a crate, hacking capture when I couldn't hack a doorpad, and allowed me to pick up Typhoon right as I came to the first boss.

I found the invisibility + energy recharge quite good, and the jump thing also makes you jump retardedly high, makes some vents really easy to reach. Overall i'd say you should pick these up: Hack level 4, Turret and robot hack upgrade. Leg upgrade, only level 1 Invisible upgrade with energy consumption reduction as well. Get 1 extra energy cell and energy recharge. Max out the inventory( allows you to carry lots of weapons) , Get the strength upgrade. Get the typhoon as well, for robots and you can do cute things if you know how to make the guards stack, invisible+typhoon = 7 guards down. If you do all the side missions you should be able to pick up the Lung upgrade as well, getting trough the gas makes it easier on some missions( get this one early though).

Boss fights were super easy once I figured out the tricks. + Show Spoiler + For the first boss you can just kill him with barrels and maybe a frag nade/mine to finish him off. The second I just put a frag mine down and tasered her to death after she got stunned. For the third I tossed like 5 frag mines from behind a wall and he died. Boss being stunned by taser/mines makes them a cakewalk if you have the stun gun/nades on hand.

I chose to rather carry grenades and heavy weapons with me to deal with them. Personally I'd recommend on getting hacking, social, ability to lift heavy objects and maybe ability to punch through walls asap if you're going stealth mode. Longer sprint and no fall damage make moving around less effortless so I picked up those once I had spare points. Also more inventory space is a must to have really. I only got stealth/cloak whatever near the end, it's cute but not actually even necessary for stealth gameplay, at least not till near end.

Fun game, Panchea is the easiest level aswell. Pretty anticlimatic for a final level. EMP grenades, grenade launcher, typhoon, invis and high hacking is pretty OP. Social enhancer is waste of points imo. As it's most of the time pretty obvious what you should say when trying to persuade people. It's a pretty good game but honestly most of the time I was thinking how much deus ex 1 > 3 >>>>> 2. Oh yeah and Icarus Landing is a must have.
