HyperONE here. I recently came across a fix online that allows users to view old 5.0.12 and 5.0.13 replays. I have no clue how it works under the hood, but as it is a manual process that involves copying, pasting, and moving stuff around on your drive, I wrote a program to automate it. After some testing, I feel that it is now mature enough to share here: https://github.com/BryanShin27/replay_fix
Please read all the disclaimers in the README on the Github repository before use. Note that you need to have owned paid game content in StarCraft II during these versions in order to be able to view old replays from those versions with this workaround.
Thanks for reading. I hope some of you can get plenty of use out of this.
That’s awesome! Automating the process makes it so much more accessible for everyone. + Show Spoiler +
Thanks for putting in the effort to develop and share this tool! It’s great to see solutions that help preserve old replays, especially for those who want to revisit past games. I’ll check it out—appreciate your work on this! Finding a reliable homework help service can be difficult, but Academized made my life easier.
