At the later stage of the game, just eat all your energy bars and keep it full, depending what your augmentation is, you can either run with stealth+silent footsteps past a highly secured area or you can just stealth for a LONG time and find a secret passage.
Boss fights are quite a big harder on highest difficulty, especially the final boss. Landmines are key, they can stun the boss. The last boss attacks are almost all one-hit-kill, so make sure you run around often while putting landmines.
try not to play the game as fps, otherwise it will just be quite an average game I think. Stealth+hacking are the things that people loved deus ex for
I would recommend everyone just start in deus ex mode because the enemies can kill you with about 4 bullets (less than 1 seconds)
Did you have the electric upgrade from the dermal armor tree? I found the last boss insultingly easy compared to the previous two. You can run right up to the buttons and kill all of the drones before the zombies reach you, and then /afk while the electricity kills them all.
is really intense. I tried like 20 times before succeding. But then i got mad and decided to use all my supplies collected for the whole game and went it hardcore. First few no scope shots with a sniper rifle then clock + upped typhoon.
I probably missed some alternative way of winning that battle so pls enlighten me on how you can accomplish the same goal without going all robocop on everyones asses :D

Took me 10 sniper shots, only died once.
Then i went and recovered those 10 shots in supplies from the 2 snipers on the rooftops.
Only thing i didnt like about the game were the bossfights, i guess they were trying to go for MGS style.

oh, I didn't mean that boss (didn't really consider it as one) The one I was talking about is the one right before this one

you are not supposed to fight, the choppa is a distraction for you to sneak past everyone lol
I guess I'm in the minority, but I personally found each and every boss underwhelming and vastly inferior in difficulty to actually reaching them without setting off alarms in the first place. This is with zero combat augs, no electric protection, and no super weapons like the Lazer rifle. I was also dumb enough + Show Spoiler +
to take the new Biochip upgrade from LIMB
which was supposed to increase the third boss difficulty.
To be honest, grenades and the Stun gun in particular are massively overpowered. Save up 10 darts and a few EMP nades and you will stunlock each and every boss 100->0 in a 20 second fight with no reloads ever required. In addition, you will find all the stuff you need to do that littered around the boss area too.
even using Lethal methods. That one alone took 15 reloads or something. I imagine it would be quite the challenge doing it non-lethal. I had no idea what to do on the final boss, improvised and apparently completed it first try.
In a nutshell, I really feel there should have been more depth to the special boss fights other than *stock up on EMP nades, Stungun, cheese with Lazer, or get Dermal Aug upgrade* Especially after you're basically trained the entire game to use everything and anything you can.

well in MGS you can knock out the bosses with tranqs and you actually get special shit for doing it that way too.
Played yesterday pretty much all day and so far, really enjoying it, I'm amazed at how much stuff there is to do in this game and how many solutions there are for each quest... Level design is pretty sick. Going for a mix of hacking/stealth and shooting when I feel like it and it's a lot of fun
Just finished it on Deus Ex difficulty. It is a solid game, but I still remember how psyched i was at the end of deus ex 1. The game is better than the ending imho, but still interesting. Tried the first mission without killing anyone and succeded but then I lost my patience and just played it normal. I felt most weapons where not strong enough and the only weapon that could deliver what I wanted was alway low on ammo - the fully upgraded 10mm. It was just perfect to snipe from almost every distance and silently oneshot enemies. Never used anything else except the rocketlauncher at the boss fights

You are meant to fight unless if you're a pussy and want to sacrfice the girl to save your own skin. :D
And it's not actually too hard to pull off even non-lethal. Just need to drink energy drink or two and charge through the enemies by rotating takedowns and stun gun, taking snipers out with tranq gun and having 1 EMP grenade for the robot, especially as the enemies focus mostly on the chopter rather than you. Given that I did it on normal rather than Deus EX but doubt if the difference is huge.

I'm sure there is a huge difference. You can die in 2-3 shots on Deus Ex setting. Aiming a tranq rifle, when you can die in 2 seconds may be a bit hard. That said, I'm sure there is someone who has done it on Deus Ex setting non-lethal

I haven't gotten that far yet(Yes, I read spoilers. No, I'm not offended and I actually look more forward to getting there), but how can you just sprint past a literal wall of bullets with just a little damage resistance when you literally die to 3 shots without(Deus-Ex)?
Do Takedowns make you invulnerable? If so, what prevents me from just going pure mobility + energy augs so that I can just sprint and takedown literally everything if I get some energy restoring items and max on the energy capacity/regeneration augs?
I'm not going to play like that(I generally take augs as I see fun. I have a couple Hacking, Cloak and Strenght augs and yes, I'm pretty much not far at this game), but what prevents exploiting those kinds of things?
Just finished the game, 22 hours playtime total. It certainly deserves the Deus Ex name. I still think the original is better, as this game lacks truly interesting characters (e.g. Daedalus, Morpheus) and doesn't have any blow-your-mind moments like + Show Spoiler [DX1] +
when you escape from captivity and you emerge out of the UNATCO basement. I also would have liked finding different ways to kill the bosses. They should have given each boss a kill switch like Anna Navarre.
Still, this game is freaking awesome. I hope they make another game, if they can think of a good enough premise for one!

Yes during the takedown animation you are invulnerable and timestopped. However, this will not help you in areas with turrets (which will still kill you very fast before/after the animation) or with robots/mechs as neither of them can be taken down.
For all the humans it is a totally viable way to play. In fact its pretty fun to do so =)
Is there a way to see the fps ingame? Im having video issues sometimes it gets choppy. My pc should handle it more than well (gts 250 e8400 3gb ram ddr3)
