Even when they throw in arbitrary numbers to account for it, they're never enough. Don't trust sims folks, just play your class the best you can. The other thing is that the sims I've been seeing have all been Patchwerk anyway... which straight up doesn't exist anymore. I'm going to echo the sentiment of learn your class and let the chips fall where they may for now, 90 is in no way reflective of what the level 100 environment will be. I think my performance while I'm streaming dropped slightly but other than that it seems to run a bit better.

Which is pretty much exactly what I said ![]()

Its not just the file switch, WoW now also renders differently, where it used to largely render using the CPU its now using the GPU more, This probably relieved the load on an older machines while stressing your video card more when it also needs to handle streaming. As for sims, no ofc sims are not perfect but that does not take away the fact that they have their uses. Ingame there are many factors which influence dps, not least of which is player skill so the effect of large balance issues can be less profound but that does not mean they dont exist.

Well that makes perfect sense then, I'll have to fiddle with my GPU later today after work/school.

I played disc in beta and now on live and well, my holy nova button should be broken soon, thinking about making the switch to paladin

Also, with so many other healing classes having similar changes made to their instant casts, holy shock being one of the few remaining instant cast heals makes it a stronger quick response spell with more raid utility than before.

How are healing specs after 6.0.2? I heard they changed the most.

How are healing specs after 6.0.2? I heard they changed the most. Leveling with a resto shaman right now is fairly easy in the 25-35 range still so I dunno. All our healers in mythic Wednesday were saying they had full mana bars the whole time so at 90 it seems like they may have overcompensated removing the mana cooldowns.

This happens every single expansion. The game breaks at the current level and is stable at the new max level, which we can't get to yet.
