Blizzard was referring to class comparison, not gear, talent or spec comparison. edit: in fact, the current state of hunters is quite possibly due to an error in Blizzard's own test and simulations. I raided in TOT at the start i was fire and i was middle of the dps by the end of TOT i was sitting at the top on bosses like Horridon and Elders due to the ability to cleave and have good gear and crit. It is the same for next expansion. At level 100 you will have like 20% crit going into the first raid, that is not enough, by the end of the first tier you will have probably 30% crit, but again remember how random the gear drops and stats are for bis and gems etcetc. Fire might be the best spec on sims, but that is not until the end of the tier with the gear just like the rankings of fire vs arcane in patch 5.4 For your edit you realize the problem is on live at level 90. Not at level 100. | ||

At the end of the day.. they're still sims. I've played this game long enough to know that sims are always wrong. If you ask any top guilds or players they will tell you the exact same thing. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/dHJbAHB.png) If you look at this then affliction locks should still be the go to warlock spec. This is not the case. Combat rogues doing worse than windwalkers and the other rogue specs is also incorrect. Elemental being above all the warlocks specc is also not the case. | ||

You can't say that x spec> y spec before it's live. As I said you can look at it as a guideline, but does by no means say that it's correct. I've also seen many sims being simmed on patchwerk style bosses which is pointless as Blizzard has said that they won't be making patchwerk style bosses because they're dull. Helter Skelter bosses is what should be looked at, and I looked through some of those sims too. They showed that the simcraft program isnt using the best rotation possible, for instance, a combat rogue with adds would not single target and use crimson tempest, which is what was being used in the sim. Where as whirlwind was spammed as a fury warrior, so obviously they gonna come out on top on a sim like that. | ||

Edit: If you don't want to go onto their forums go into Slootbags stream or Fraggis stream and ask them, they will just laugh at you. Someone did it the other night on Slootbags stream on release of 6.0 and he facepalmed. | ||
