Seeing as I only have around 4k gold I have decided to level another character so that I can at least farm materials for potions/flasks etc. Shit is mad expensive.

You can sustain yourself on your main by building an Alchemy Lab in one of your plots+ leveling fishing and cooking quite easily. Will take some time but it means raiding won't cost you any gold. Convieniently leveling fishing will give you Crescent fish which you can use to level Alchemy as well if you so desire.

You do for Mythic content (20 man) but for Normal and Heroic raiding you can x server raid yes.
