I do like 2v2 though for fast caps and what not but it is silly to try balance Arena on that too. 3v3 or nothing in terms of balance for me, which is i guess how they look at it right? Just to keep everyone updated, we're progressing on the first big round of balance tuning changes. Coming in the new couple days will be adjustments to Assassination, Subtlety, Fury, Protection Warrior, All Death Knights, All Monks, All Mages, All Hunters, Shadow, Protection Paladins, Retribution, Guardian, Feral, Affliction, Demonology. Lots of number changes. To set expectations, our general strategy will be to nerf the couple OP specs (Fire, Fury, Demon), and buff the others to be competitive. Slight correction to that: A few others are coming down a tiny bit too, but those changes were already announced in my beta forum post. TO THE GROUND BABY  rip my new op dps. It was fun while it lasted. | ||

Fire is not going to be instantly good at level 100, it won't be good until you have your full tier gear and full BF or Highmaul gear. Thats the issue with the sim data that people are following. The rankings always change, fire is HEAVY gear dependant, has been since MoP and will be in WoD as they didn't change anything. It is crit crit and more crit to get to a level where you can get decent ignites to make your combusts viable in terms of damage. Anyway back to the point, the dps people are simulating are in like full set bonuses and epic gear from Highmaul/BF thats only when fire will beat frost and maybe on par if not behind arcane until then too. Fury warrior is exactly the same it starts of the expansion not so good but by the end of gear the stats make it good and strong. Reason why Fury and Fire are raping the damage now is probably due to a few issues but also because the gear that has been achieved by those specs 1 year after the raid is released is the reason why they are sat on stupidly good stats. Im sat at 57% unbuffed in raids in crit which is pretty good but others will be higher. Fury warrior will be the same. It is high gear dependant and end of the expansion is always pushing up to the top on dps. I would stake alot on fire mage not being the best mage spec until at least January/February after people are farming the Mythic bosses. Also would say that fury warrior won't be that high on metres until it gets good gear too. Same reason Hunters even if they didn't get touched would be fine at 100 due to when stat weights change again. Thats why im very confused at all the changes as everything changes at 100 with different talents and those perk things. Oh well, im sure Blizzard will make the right calls... Also on the healing issue, remember when everyone on MMO champion and other forum boards where saying OMG resto druids are sick omg look at their sim numbers. Everything is shit healing spec and everyone will be rolling druids...lol Thats Paragon and Method raid where Holy palas doing 30%+ of the healing, discos still being around there and resto druids doing about 18% on par with Disco. However resto druids are struggling a bit but still are being used fine on fights like Thok where everyone stands in healing rain  | ||
