Outland is what remains of Draenor after it got tore apart by Ner'zhul, it was believed to be completely destroyed world before the expansion. Draenei originally came from Argus and that place is either destroyed as well or it's under Burning Legion entirely. The name of WoD, assuming that it's the next expansion, is probably going to have time travel segment to it's early days or something. I doubt they're going to pull, lolz this part of Draenor survived too and you never just found it! There's plenty of lore to go in that area(portals opened by Ner'zhul, some of these could be used to create entirely new planet) so I'll just wait few days and see what they've created.

Even though I haven't really played since halfway cata (and 2 months of MoP after release) I already know I'm probably gonna give the new xpac a go.
Damn you WoW

And that is the reason WoW will never die, its like an unkown addiction man! We just casually play it or even hardcore still but every expansion everyone still buys it. We don't think we have the time to put into the game anymore or think it is any good, but we still throw money at it! Very annoying! I have tried to "quit" (take breaks) from WoW alot, most notably for Rift GW2 and SW:TOR after about 2days playing both those i found myself in Orgrimmar lol. Was like WTF i doing XD

Ok this is a time for Brag... THE TIME TO BRAG IN MY WHOLE WOW CAREER OF CASUAL gamer
Are you ready ? =>
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/UOpirnu.jpg) Look at bottom left. => "Vous recevez le buton" => "You loot the following items". This is useless crap for a "non burning crusade" character but... 4 legendary weapon in ONE loot i never saw that.
I was happy.
But as you can see in my inventory... none of those weapons are in there. Now i'm sad.

Oh hi ! I'm sorry to not know all of the dunjon by heart ! I did not know that. I looked it up since you pointed it out... but really... What's that tone ? I should have known because as it was the first time that i did this dungeon and it was explained in the game !
Thank you for your insight.

Ah Kael'Thas, this was a hilarious fight as a hunter since you had to:
1- Pick up the bow and equip it 2- Use it to spawn ammos 3- Place said ammo in your quiver to be able to use them!
And this is why i never topped the dps meter on that fight ( or any fight in my case as i refused to spec BM and stayed MM)

I try to do it solo but i don't understand how to kill the last boss
EDIT :
So know i'm 90. ilvel 400+
AQ40 - I just can't do the twins. They heal so fast it's impossible. - 3bugs trio is impossible too. Chain fear, bump, full heal while that.
I think i will never finish this dungeon.
Tempest dungeon - Impossible de kill the last boss when the 4 champions come.
Hyjal battle - Impossible to not die to the monster
I don't understand how you solo those bosses. (and i heard some of you do it easy)

Just do some Timeless Isle stuff and a few LFR to get your itemlvl closer to 500 and everything will be a lot easier.
If you're having trouble with some of the mechanics in Tempest Keep, Hyjal etc, you can download Deadly Boss Mods + the BC mods, that might help you identify what you're doing wrong. http://www.curse.com/search?type=addons&search=Deadly Boss Mods

Yeah my warlock, who is equipped almost entirely through LFR/timeless isle, is at 525 ilvl and he rips through everything I've run from previous games, up through cataclysm heroics. That's where it gets more iffy, and stuff like Dragon Soul is impossible to solo no matter how high your ilvl is. Tempest Keep, Hyjal, and most of AQ (the twins are iffy) are definitely doable.

Kael thas is hard to solo depending on your class, i couldnt do it as a warrior for example, Twins heal too fast to be able to kill them, need 50k dps to beat the healing, and then it'd be slow if you cant keep it sustained.
also iffy to solo kaz rogal cuz you'll eventually die from doom in hyjal, others should be doable.
i think without glitching its impossible to solo nai'jentus in BT too. however all of these are easily 2 mannable, and we were able to 2 or 3 man alot of the lower tier, read not lich king heroic raids(besides yogg saron and some of ulduar) with 2 3 or 4 people, used this to get the drakes from sarth too.

Naj'entus is definitely soloable, I think they changed the way it works slightly in Cata or MoP. When he gets that bubble you can just wait it out, no mechanics involved
Everything that's been listed as difficult to solo in the past page is a simple issue of DPS. With 460ish gear from heroics I was able to do most everything listed (on a few classes); nowadays with 490ish+ Timeless Isle stuff it should be a cake walk.
Rude are you still trying to do it all as Resto? Or a real DPS spec? Because with things like bug trio you should literally be able to drop one of them (probably the healer) before any of them even touch you.
I also don't think Twin Emps need that much dps, unless something's changed. I did it with pretty shitty blues right as I hit 90. But if you're not using a dps spec, or don't know how to use the one you've chosen optimally, then it might be tight.
I have a shaman with T.Isle elemental gear. I could run through AQ and do Kael this weekend and upload quick vids. I think Kael should definitely be possible on shammy with the right placement of the advisors.

No i'm on elem spec now. I don't do group stuff so i don't use resto class anymore. Twins heal 30K every two seconds if i recall correctly. I'm mainly a healer so i am discovering elem stuff. I coul post my spec tree if you want to correct me ?
What do you mean placement ?

It's almost always worth the money though. I typically get bored/burnt out after a few months, but I never feel like I didn't get my moneys worth in new content by that point. It just eventually gets to the point where you have done most all of it and all you have left is repeating the same raid/pvp/whatever every week til the next content patch. It switches from exciting and new to feeling more like a job where I HAVE to play to compete rather than want to play, and that is typically when I quit til the next expansion.

Yeah spot on xD Raiding at start of a patch/expansion is great fun, leveling farming dungeons etcetc great. By the time you've done it for 3-4 months your bored XD

What do you mean placement ? => https://eu.battle.net/wow/fr/character/rashgarroth/Chamynova/ The twins heal that much if they're close together, but you should be able to keep them apart most of the time, except for a brief bit when they swap. Tank the melee one and be at range from the magic one you're dps'ing. Then when they switch, run away from the magic one (who is now right next to you) so that when the melee one comes back to you, they don't start healing. Then keep dps'ing the magic one.
By placement I mean dragging all the advisors really far apart from each other when you kill them the first time (individually). Then when they all respawn, kill the ones that are a problem (either the magic chick that stuns, or the engineer that stuns) first very fast and then by the time the others get to you the ones that are a pain are dead. Then burn and kill Kael.
These are what I've done for these bosses on my other classes. Like I said I'll do it on my own shaman this weekend to see if I'm missing any trickies, and maybe record it if I'm bored.

- Well when you are alone you just can't seperate them... They just stick together and chain heal. I don't know how you can seperate them...If i tank the melee one and am at the longer range for the other to attack me... he just heal constantly
- Oohhhh i never thought of that. That can be a good trick. I need to kill that bitch that fear you for 9 freaking second. And i suppose like the other bosses when you kill his friends he become easy as fuck ?
Don't bother recording for me. Especially if you use a crapton on addon because i won't understand anything that's going on (i never used addon that change interface and things like healbot that makes the game so easy that you just have to macro maker a button and just move) :p.
I got Blizzcon this week end so i don't think i'll play a lot. I might try Karazan because someone in this thread explained me how to kill the dragon. I might try that.
Also i was wondering if someone knows a nice route to farm mounts ? I mean an optimized route. This is what i do on Wednsday :
- Stormwind to MC (because sulfuras crafting) - Karazan first boss for the horse - I go all the way up to stratholme for the horse (i just do one try because i did this like 120 times already) - Then the instance up ... magister floor ? Do drop the austrich (i got it) - Teleport to Stormwind. - Go to the dark portal. - Try Keal'tas (and die) - Teleport to SW - Go to uldum - Go to AQ and try AQ40 one or two time (got red cristal) - Teleport to SW - Go wait the boat - Fly to utgarde for blue proto drake - Make a round for loss proto drake
But i feel i lose a lot of time and maybe i could do stuff on the road to have other mounts ? (i have literally no rare mounts except for the austrich (i'm alliance), black drake, red qiraj tank).
|
In terms of efficiency it may be best to leave Stratholme out of your trip. There is no useful connection to anywhere since you have the magister's terrace mount and you can do strat as many times as you want in a row, so just do it x times whenever you like.
Your last teleport should go to Dalaran and fly to Utgarde from there. After looking for the time-lost proto drake you can finish with Malygos.
