3 days until we find out :D But are the Draeni people in wow the ones who fled Outland due to all the bad that was happening there? The gods of draenor would line up the 5th expansion which is about the return of TBC bosses that weren't killed?
|
Yes, they are Pan, I'm almost certain WOD is going to be the next WoW expansion. The player base has been raving about BC since WOTLK came out.
|
I'm pretty sure Warlords of Draenor is not a WoW expansion. The name just doesn't sound expansion-ish.

Mist of Pandaria didn't sound like it either... So ... could be. I don't know what i want from wow now. I've been trying to get to 90 so i tried the mop zones and i just don't enjoy it. It's dumb quest with silly objectives and reward (really ? I do a quest and you give me a pet that i can summon just to kick in it ?).
So the only thing i hope with the next exepension. Dragons (real ones not carnival ones) and dragons, some demons and dragons :p

No like anyone would still play this terrible Casual-MMO.

10M have not payed to play it for years! Of the 7M Players at least 5M are from Asia and there is no 15$/Month Sub-System. At least in china you have to buy Timecards so Blizzard does not get that much money after the Cut to the Chinese Company.
And since Casualysm the Game has just become terrible. They even patched out the Skill-Trees wtf!

Hahahaha that was funny it's the most played MMO in the world. And wtf with asia ? So it's played in Asia so you don't count them and so there is no one playing ? You can buy time cards in Europe now too... you don't have to pay subscription. For that matter time card and subscription is... hum... the same ?
The game is not that good yeah. But i don't know what is it with casual hater... Why do you hate casual games ? I don't even know the name of a recent game that is not casual

LOL this is like worst debate ever. "10M have to payed to play it for years" lololol ok sure, because playing WoW for free is able to happen how? If your buy time card or if you buy subscription your paying BLIZZARD. The money you pay on top goes to the seller. Hell when "casualclysm" came out what did they do to fix the money issue with players. Incite them all to sign up for a 12 month subscription base which a hell of a lot of people did. Then Panda hit and the player base jumped back up again. It has dropped down again the last couple of weeks due to the expansion being over now, people have killed Garrosh and there is other games releasing which is standard for this time of year. It currently resides around 7.7million active subscriptions. That number will shoot back up once the new expansion hits next year.
7.7million x£8.99 x$12.99 = £69,223,000 or $100,023,000 in revenue PER MONTH, if a game isn't "successful" surviving off that a MONTH then there is huge issues

I too thought this is a bad thing, but then i played the game and enjoyed it, because unlike before, you know have to adapt your skills to every boss. Theres not much room for customizing, but you play the bosses differently, which is better. In the end, there was a cookiecutter build for every spec anyway, so you either sticked to that or you were a scrub who doesnt do damage. I like it the way it is now.
For example: I play shadow priest. Each class has 6 tiers of skills, which each have 3 different options. For Thok, i ignore the first tier, because thats more pvp relevant. In the second tier i use feathers, because you can have 3 of them at a time and they give a greater speed boost for longer time. This is essential in the encounter because the boss chases random people around. In the third tier i spec From Darkness comes light, this gives me instant cast procs, which is usually a dps loss compared to the third option, but on this boss its impossible to cast a full mindflay because he counterspells every second and you also have to run a lot. In the forth tier it doesnt really matter, this one is pure preference. I prefer bulwark because its a passive skill and i have one less button to press, but it also prevents me frm dying to his high damage nukes that i wouldnt be able to react with a manual heal. In the fifth tier i go Divine insight, because it also gives me instant cast procs, just for a different spell. This is the to go option for 90% of the bosses, but there are exceptions. In the sixth tier i go Divine star. This is a dps loss compared to halo, but its a 15second cooldown spell which heals everyone in line between me and the boss for up to 200k. In this encounter it is required to stand together and he has very high damage so it helps the healers a lot. Now we kill thok and go to the very next boss in the dungeon: Blackfuse! What skills do i change? every single one(except for the first tier which is a pvp tier). I dont need feathers for blackfuse, so i go body and soul, which gives me a speed boost whenever i cast a shield on myself (or others). Then i get solace and insanity instead of FDCL, because i dont need the instant procs which are a dps loss compared to solace, when i have plenty of time to cast a full mindflay. Also, this boss has an ability that some classes can dodge, like rogues with their vanish, hunters with feint death and also priests, with guise, which i skill instead of the bulwark which would have granted me heal. in the next tier i go Twist of Fate, because this boss is add heavy i can have 90%+ uptime of this buff, which is a huge dps boost comapred to Divine Insight. In the last tier i go halo, which is the go to dps option when the boss has adds but they are stacked together so cascade doesnt do full damage.
You see, this were just 2 bosses, not only do the bosses have different abilities, but i myself have different abilities for the bosses. This brings more variety and more fun. And im just a shadow priest, i only have one damage spec. Just imagine how much pure dps classes can change in playstyle between bosses!

This is how we found out about Cata AND MoP.
Too early for Hearthstone, but who knows. Maybe Warcraft 4?
I was pretty sure they wouldn't do another xpac after MoP, does anyone even play anymore?

Exactly all the people who complain about the new "talent tiers" are the ones who have no idea about the new talent system or have even played since Vanilla xD It is way better, you dont have 30 pointless talents to unlock 1 valuable skill you needed. You have a movement based line a big dps boost line, a survivability based line etc etc. All that can be fined tuned to your play style.
|
I do miss the old talent trees though. Maybe they can work them back into the game somehow while still keeping the new system.

Well with new level cap being 100 next expansion you would think would be an extra 2 lines? I would hope so anyway, but im sure there will be definitely 1 more line.

Your post is spot on about the talent system. I see few talent choices though which could be better as sp :p If you haven't heard about howtopriest.com I highly recommend you join what is the premium source of priest theorycrafting and everything, it's the only site you need for priest needs. Noxxic is bad site all around and you shouldn't use it, Icy Veins depends on class as some of their info is outdated for some classes.
