Did they change anything in regard to how much fury you generate via incoming damage?
I've just upgraded to MoP, tanked deadmines, had half the instance beating me off and didn't generate any fury at all. Is there something wrong with the formula on lower levels? Also my auto hits didn't do anything in that regard, it was the least fun I had playing a Warrior ever.

0 fury generated from damage taken unless in Berserker Stance. Fury generation nowadays is basic attacks and certain abilities (Mortal Strike, Bloodthirst, Shield Slam. Revenge).

They. right, believe you should not be punished for doing a really good job avoiding damage. Same reason vengeance is getting reworked in WoD. Same thing with auto hits. they do not generate rage. Read your abilities. Some give rage, others spend it. A lot has changed for warrior rage gen since you last played.
Outside of Beserker stance yes, forgot about that since i normaly play prot :p

Was glorious since that mage, Belise, and Zeppelin all ran together and all ran oneshot spec and everyone dreaded hitting their group. Again, back in the days of early WSG, you got to know everyone's name pretty quick My proudest AV moment was the first time I one shotted a priest as a warrior with sword spec. A good old times, glad there gone now :p What are you talking about? Warriors can still oneshot clothies :S ...and Hunters ...and Shamans ...and Warlocks ...and Paladins Shows you how long ago its been that I did or watched any pvp :p
They can't *really*. If they stack all their cooldowns and the enemy just miraculously doesn't move away, they can do serious damage with ms/cs/slam spam

I'm sorry, but that's shit. I loved having more tools at my disposal when tanking larger groups, that was the one thing that made me like the warrior over Paladin or DK tanks...

Yeah my pally seems dull. Avengers, hammer/cs, consecrate, judge. That's what? 4 abilities =\ bleh

Dungeons, even at 90, are a poor gauge of how a tanking class actually works. Deadmines even more so. They're just too easy, so you don't need to use everything. Consider the pally: in addition to the abilities Ayaz mentioned, he has Holy Wrath, Lv90 talent, 2 active survival abilities, HoP, and 7 cooldowns. You don't really need any of that in dungeons.

Ofc, cooldowns not super necessary in 5 mans but in raiding they become vital to know.

TBH, you get Revenge procs and Sword and Board procs (Devastate is free and procs them) so often that you virtually have unlimited rage anyway.

Unlimted rage actually sounds very much like a reason to qq, although idk anything about warrior.

Yeah I guess I should shut my trap until I'm 90. I forgot that I would be getting more abilities. I still don't get when to use wog over sotr in 5 mans though. Seems like when I'm in need of heals, I go to use wog and get instantly healed to full by the healer. Stresses me out being low on HP lol

SixStrings whined about not getting rage from being hit because it didnt make him zomgwtfbbq when tanking a lot of mobs to which Deth2munkie told him he is wrong since multiple mobs = more revenge procs = more rage.

Ugh there's so much to do at 90 and I don't have enough time for it all lol. I want to run dungeons/LFR to see the content, but at the same time I want to do my dailies to get mounts/gear/etc, and I also want to quest in the other zones that I didn't see while leveling... and then I want to level alts... ugh.

Am I a masochist for trying to arena with a friend on fresh 90 timeless geared characters for conq points? I feel like neither of us do any damage at all and just get instagibbed by anything with more than 450k hp, let alone people rocking full prideful. I think we managed to sink all the way to like 700 mmr before we started running into some people running around naked giving freewins.

Daily battlegrounds can almost cap you on conq IIRC. Nobody really cares about what your gear is in those.

They give you 75 conq after the first, and BG's are much slower to both queue for and play. I'd say tanking arena (although you have to do this 'manually' now and can't auto-leave) is still the fastest by far.
Of course, other way would be to farm those honor mobs in Krasarang, and get some 522 pieces first. Then you might stand a chance to win more arenas. Fastest way is if you have acquaintances on other servers to invite you, and just camp that area.

I ordered WOD from bnet and boosted a mage so I can be cool like Qaatar. Teleport is hax.

You still planning to play on Cenarius? I recently started playing again, but within the guild I'm pretty much the only person active.
Edit: also not an officer, so I can't invite you for guild perks. Raka still plays though.

Absolutely you are a masochist. Gear with battlegrounds first.
