Heck, I win 5 games and get 15 elo in total(3 each game), then I lose one game and get -14 in elo? Seems kinda unfair. And I always played players around my skill level.

Yeah I'm sort of okay with those two new summoning methods but I just played with friends at school and everybody just used a straight forward beatdown deck with no real synergy between cards. I'm really having trouble figuring out how cards in something like a "dino rabbit" deck combo and such. Also what does +1 or +2 mean? + Show Spoiler + On January 15 2012 20:40 TheAwesomeAll wrote: hornet in the graveyard, wind-up shark in the graveyard, dragonfly in your hand. You normal summon dragonfly, attach hornet detach to destroy a card of your opponent and special summon centipede, you do the same to destroy another card on the field and search for dragonfly. At this point you destroyed 2 cards, special summoned a card and searched a card so thats a +4 Now you xyz for wind-up zenmaighty, detach a card to special summon wind-up rat, rats effect to get out wind-up hunter. You sacrifice zenmaighty to discard a card from your opponent, xyz for zenmaighty get out rat, repeat untill you discarded 3 cards. you end with a used rat and hunter on your field. thats makes for a +7. you end up with 2 cards on the field and a +6, dragonfly in your hand to repeat the +4 next turn. Did i somewhere mix up the rules or does this actually work?

So take for example Pot of Greed. Pot of Greed is a +1. You lose one card (Pot of Greed) and gain 2 cards. 2-1 = 1, therefore +1. Often destruction will be referred to as +, so if you destroy 2 cards on the field and search/draw 2 cards that's +4. + = good - = bad unless the effect is otherwise really really good or central to your win condition

Summon Rescue Rabbit ![]() Activate Rescue Rabbit's effect. Remove it from play and special summon two level 4 normal monsters with the same name. Special summon 2 Sabersaurus ![]() Now you can make a rank 4 XYZ monster. Use the 2 Sabersaurus to make Evolsaur dolkka ![]() We normal summoned 1 card and got a 2300 ATK effect negater out of it. You could also choose some of these options: ![]() ![]()

Anyway, you're a god among men Helvetica ![]() I couldn't find this on yugioh wiki, so tyvm. You could run Verz with Rescue Rabbit. Verz Bahamut is really good but the Dinosaur XYZ monsters are a lot better, definitely the best to run with RR at the moment. A lot of people hate using top tier decks but I think it's important to at least play them and understand how they run.

I think so the game in general has a lot of dumb stuff right now. Rabbit is definitely no worse than samurai was though, on occasion rabbit gets bad draws and it actually has to play. Samurai would get bad hands and just lose. A lot of Dark Strike Fighter decks back in summer of 09 were pretty silly. x-sabers in summer of 2010 were also a huge case of durdle. Oh, and lightsworn from 2008 all the way to when the banlist finally ruined the deck in 2010 was the king of durdle. Rabbit is pretty dumb though. So are wind-ups though.

My understanding of Teledad wasn't that it was too derpy but that it was just too strong. There wasn't a whole lot of variation.

If any deck was a problem during that format, it was the random lightsworn decks that prevented any kind of rogue deck from competing. My understanding of Teledad wasn't that it was too derpy but that it was just too strong. There wasn't a whole lot of variation. Teledad was the only deck that could really abuse synchros at the time, so yeah, it was a little on the strong side. However, it was the combination of Teledad and Lightsworn in the metagame that prevented other decks from being able to compete. In order for a rogue deck to have a good Teledad matchup, you had to sacrifice the Lightsworn matchup to the point of near unwinnability, and enough people played Lightsworn that you couldn't go x-1 or x-2 at an event if your matchup was that bad. Little City is the best example of this, where it actually had a really favorable teledad matchup (70% or better preboard, similar if not better numbers post) but the Lightsworn matchup was miserable (probably somewhere around 40% preboard, and 15-20% post because of decrees) The real problem with the Teledad format was cost. Maliciouses were $60 each, as were DDraws. DADs were pushing 200-250. Crush Card Virus was somewhere over 300 if I remember correctly. The deck cost something around $1500 to build.
