I just heard an interesting proposal on the radio since this year the playoffs don't seem that exciting. Interested in what others would say as well... Three more teams to add which might include Boston/Washington, New York/Ottawa and New Jersey/Florida.

No, as a Sharks a fan, I really don't want to see the Sharks play again this season. I'd rather flush twice.

I think it will be exciting, you have LA, St. Louis, Nashville, Phoenix, Ottawa(maybe), Washington(maybe), Florida(maybe) going for their first cup in the modern era or ever for the franchise. That will be huge and the defensive hockey will not be so bad, you have some teams that can still light up the scoreboard. Some times having parity in the league seems like a curse when this happens, but it beats the same set of teams winning the championship non stop.

Defensive hockey filled,with many beautiful offensive chances despite stingy defenses ala last two games of LAK-VAN I can take. Defensive 'hockey' with holding, interference, trapping, and no forecheck no thanks.

I really have not seen much of that. Shit, even Devs vs Panthers, which everyone was thinking was gonna be a trap fest, has been a really entertaining series.

I have no idea. Those people must not be watching the Wash/Bos series though. Game 7 tonight and so far every game in the series has been decided by 1 goal (Which I had heard was a first, but haven't seen it fact checked yet though). If game 7 is anything like the rest of the series we are in for another great game.

Been great as far as the first round goes.

The second round has me almost completely uninterested. Maybe it'll surprise me.

You haven't seen much of it because of all these exciting teams that got bounced in the first round. Now we've got nothing but 'defensive' hockey for the second round out west.

Stripes are trying to give the Bruins a win with that call. 3 minutes left in a tie game and you call that touch foul after letting a late hit go moments earlier.

Edit - Great PK by the Caps. Still a shit call to begin with though.
