Its more exciting They play solid defensive hockey, but they dont really trap. They aren't a hang back kind of team, they are a I'ma skate hard and forecheck your arse all day kind of team. It 'boring' to play against because it suck creativity out of the game because there is no time and space sort of like the trap, but it definitely isn't the trap. They usually fore-check with two men deep, and then just come back just as hard. Thats the thing really, they dont hang back, they go for goals they just are likely the most defensively responsible team in the league. | ||

I've always played as a 2 way forward, and so I've always appreciated a good defensive hockey game. I thought the Philly-Pitt series was a circus and hated it. | ||

No, that's your reason which a few people do indeed share especially if you come from the Ottawa Valley, where TV rights used to be an issue. There are many and I mean many reasons why people love to hate on Toronto and the Maple Leafs. Notice how I separated both? The issue has a lot of depth. | ||
