He's got more years to get to that level of top tier coaches though. I think the only reason he still has any grip on this team is because Riley has been unwavering in his support of him (at least publicly). While people may not buy into Spo being a legit coach right now, they certainly buy into Riley and that been just enough this season.

Not saying that they won't adjust or improve themselves, but DAL becomes a scary good team when everyone's contributing like they should, i.e. Barea creating offense when Dirk is on the bench by attacking the paint and making those jumpers he's been good at all season-long, Terry knocks down open looks like he's supposed to, Marion does his all-around game, Chandler defends the paint and boards, Kidd defends, boards and knocks down open 3s, DeShawn defends and knocks down open 3s, and Dirk is... Dirk. The Heat need Lebron to dominate on offense, being a distributor and defender isn't enough. I think the team is much more dangerous when Lebron and Wade are dominating their offense, rather than one of them and Bosh. Bosh is better off knocking down perimeter shots when defenses collapse on Wade and Lebron, and scoring off of opportunities created by the other two.

Wade was pretty quiet (relatively) in the Bulls series when he was being guarded by Bogans/Rose/Brewer. #3. Wade is facing an incredibly favorable matchup against Dallas. He's basically being defended by the children of the poor 90% of the time. There aren't many tougher matchups than Bogans/Rose/Brewer. Are you saying that you think Wade should have gone off on them?

here's what I'd say in the huddle: me: ok so let's get some stats here, how is everyone shooting? some dude: well wade is 8/11 right now with 20 points me: all right, you guys hear that? give the ball to wade. I can't teach you guys how crucial this is to our gameplan. get the ball to wade. all right, let's go heat!!!

In the 4th, the Dallas were doing either zone or help when Wade tried to dribble around his defender. Wade turned it over, a lot. I'm guessing that Lebron's a significantly better ball handler, and he should have been the one to initiate the offense instead of Wade. Yes, doubling or zoning on drives will free up shooters ... but Wade's passing accuracy seems significantly worse than Lebron's. Why not throw in Stojakavic for the 2 minutes a game that Lebron sits? If he can cover Udonis Haslem or Mike Miller, he might be passable. Nowitzki looked dead tired for a lot of the last few minutes, he couldn't even jog up the court for a few seconds and he just sat at the corner 3 while Terry did his thing. I've never heard of Brian Cardinal before this series. If the 3rd Dallas game is another super close game, Miami's should be happy with getting 3 50/50 games on the road. These games are so close that one team getting hot could blow the series wide open.

This series is very likely to go to game seven (ok, captain obvious right now).

I gotta admit Wade is better than I gave him credit for, but I still don't like Miami's team at all. Some people like to see star players dominating the ball and taking bad shots, others like good efficient offense. Call it cultural differences if you will, I guess that's the European way to play the game! We're not used to this kind of individual play because it's not viable with our rules.

Dirk had/has a flu? Kind of explains why he looked so flat. Able to deliver when it mattered though--true champion that guy is. Last 3 (hopefully) games will be epic from here on in.

Agree? pretty perfect so far for lebron haters, he has 9 4th q pts in the series (dirk has 44 heh). even if the heat win lebron will still get killed by the media

It is not even his team really, despite the media trying to portray it as such, if Miami wins Wade is clearly the FMVP here and he has shown more consistency than LeBron EIGHT POINTS? Son i am dissapoint
