102 sounds believable. A fever of 107 you will likely suffer some brain damage. If someone is running a fever that high there are typically much larger issues occurring as well.

Dirk is fucking sick man. Sneezing like shit.

yeah im not sure what to say about an 8pt game by lebron. its nice that hes sharing and being a facilitator and all but we need him to do more on the offensive end.
but honestly that wasnt the real problem tonight imo. heats lost again by blowing a good lead. but anyways, in the end, this makes the series closer and consequently, a better series =)

where the fuck was lebron?

Dirk has a 102 degree fever and a torn left hand, still puts up 21 and 11 with the game winning basket. And he shot 33%, oh well. That sounds about like Drose in the semifinals numbers if you ask me...dirk never ceases to amaze me. Did anyone watch Tyson Chandlers postgame interview? He said throughout and before the game Dirk could barely talk he was wheezing so much...monster effort.

I hope DAL pulls this one out and wins it.
However, interesting topic I heard earlier on the radio. IF Mia wins and Wade is the MVP, does this bump him into a serious candidate for best player in the NBA? I think the general opinion right now is LBJ is taking that mantle from an aging Kobe. However, Wade would have 2 rings and be the MVP of both finals. Thoughts?

Dang... O_O
When it's not even double-digits, that's when you begin to doubt :o

Wade has 2 other top players around him to rely on. Nowitzki has no one. Dirk not becoming MVP would be a major upset no matter who wins the finals.

Dirk sounds pretty sick. Stop asking him questions, and let the man leave this damn press conference.

Is a 9 point lead with like 10 minutes left a massive lead? You almost always see these leads disappear. But then again, maybe it's just because I'm a Suns fan and used to seeing these leads evaporate.
Dirk needs to rest already, he looks sick as a dog.

The finals-MVP is always from the winning team afaik.

Jerry West won on the losing team way back in the day.

you must be crazy. As well as Dirk is playing NOBODY is playing on Wade's level. It's not even close.

Yeah those 9 pts weren't a huge lead. There had been several 6-7 pt swings in the game. The Heat just managed to sustain two of those in a row and it was a matter of time before the Mavs would get their swing. It's been like that the entire series. The problem came when the Heat just didn't freaking score down the stretch and the Mavs did.
I'll just continue to say what I've been saying throughout the playoffs. The Heat have yet to lose back to back games in the playoffs. Hopefully come Game 5 they keep it that way.

LeFraud showing his true colors this game. Even facing a crippled Dirk Nowitsky, Wade can't carry his stacked team to victory. Dallas in 7.
|
WOW!! This series has been great so far. 1st time in 90 playoff games that Lebron had less than 10 pts. That says a lot about how hard Dallas is playing lately, really inspired basketball considering everyone knows Miami has the talent advantage.

I don't think so for a few reasons.
#1. Kobe hasn't been the best player in the league for a few years now. #2. Wade was pretty quiet (relatively) in the Bulls series when he was being guarded by Bogans/Rose/Brewer. #3. Wade is facing an incredibly favorable matchup against Dallas. He's basically being defended by the children of the poor 90% of the time.

What exactly does the phrase "children of the poor" mean? Sounded sort of funny, and I can tell essentially what you mean, but I've never seen that idiomatic phrase before.
