Potential I still think Eric Gordon's got it. He's already one of the best 5 Shooting guards in the league and one of the best on-ball defenders. He's got the jumper, the mid-range game, the 3pter, ability to drive, takes it to the rack and gets lots of Free Throws. Offensively this guy is the real match-up problem and remember he's just as young as Blake. Defensively he's already pretty good. Besides the fact that he's a wide body he's also fast and racks up a good amount of steals. If having a jumper and playing good defense are what you are waiting for Blake to get (which he may never achieve) where as Gordon already has those I think it's safe to say which one of them is the real match up problem for other teams. Blake is good but Gordon is the one that makes this team go. Absolute stud.

It was 83-82 bocats, and they got the ball back with 25.7 seconds left on the game clock and obviously 24 seconds on the shot clock. They inbounded and no one on the Bulls even made an attempt to foul. They ended up calling a timeout, and the Bulls got the ball back on the inbound, so I never got to see what they were planning to do. So, any ideas what they were doing? The obvious answer seems to be that they were hoping to come up with a stop, and have somewhere around 1.7 seconds left on the clock, then use a timeout. Which I guess makes sense, but couldn't the Bobcats just wait until the shot clock has around 1 second left, then throw the ball straight up in the air to kill the 1.7 seconds of difference between the shot and gameclock? Even if they didn't do that, is this the right way to play that situation?

...but in any case the game clock would be reverted to how much time was left when the 24 second shot clock expired. If they threw the ball up in the air, it obviously won't hit the rim so they would bring it back to 1.7 seconds. As far as what they were thinking, they were probably hoping to try to get a steal or a backcourt violation (if they inbounded from backcourt) and then foul if either of those didn't work out. That way they had a chance to get ball back without fouling (semi-lucky chance), but then quickly foul if it didn't work outPS I am going to try to find the play to see it

The bobcats called a timeout 5-6 seconds after they inbounded the ball, and the Bulls ended up stealing it on the inbounds. It seemed like the Bobcats were just as confused as me as to why the Bulls weren't fouling.

That bobcats would get sloppy while wondering why they weren't getting fouled ...poor cats, who won by the way?

I have 0 faith in this team during the playoffs. I'm not sold on the Clipper hype because: A.) They are a terrible road team. B.) Baron Davis only plays well when the crowd is into the game C.) They still need a bench. Other than that I'm 100% sold on Eric Gordon. The second half of his rookie year when I started paying attention to him I said he is going to be a complete monster. Blake Griffin of course needs no further hype. Speaking of last night Baron Davis wasn't the reason the Clippers won imo if you're looking at their best point guard on the floor. It was Eric Bledsoe. He played some out of his mind defense on Chalmers and even Wade on 2 possessions. No one expected the 09 team to make it as far as they did and once Arenas gets in real game shape the magic have someone who can put up monster numbers just wait you will see they are 1-1 with the Celtics since the trades. How do you have no faith in this team you talking about them like they never won a playoff series like they the 94 Supersonics when they lost to the #8 seed Denver Nuggets this team actually went to the finals. Have you watched the Clippers play? Blake Griffin is one of the best players in the NBA in his rookie season. Not only is he a great finisher around the rim He's a great Passer if he doesn't have what he wants he kicks the ball out if double teams come he kicks it out cross court to the wide open 3 not only is he a amazing talent he's one of the smartest basketball players i seen. Lol Baron Davis put up what 20 pts in the game vs the heat? you telling me if he had his regular 10 ppg night the clippers would of won? Baron Davis was once the best PG in the game then he got lazy and they also are quite deep in the bench once they get Kaman back I would make him come off the bench Jordan is a beast imo you will be looking at a Bench of Kaman/Foye/Aminu/Bledsoe imo they got 9 people you can actually put in the game I know people probably don't know who Craig Smith is, but personally this guy has a great game in the low post

Blake is talented for sure, but Gordon is definitely making that team run more than Blake is this year. People like to overlook the fact that Gordon was injured last year for the Clippers for not an insignificant amount of time.
