Some clown named "Ace" kept trying to make a case for Derrick Rose being overrated... LOL How foolish do you guys look now with D-Rose being the inevitable MVP and the Bull's being the #1 seed in the East? I repeat, 4 months ago, I tried to debate whether he was the best PG in NBA, and morons like Ace tried to claim that even RONDO was a better player!!! smh Pretty sure this is why you got banned

Stats don't always mean you're the better player. Rondo is surrounded by veterans and talent, and defenders guard him 5 feet away because they know he's a terrible shooter. I guess Kevin Love is a better player than guys like Bynum and Horford because his stats are better right? And are you actually arguing that Rondo's triple-double avg. in a playoff series sets him apart from Rose? Does it actually show that Rondo is a better player if he get's rebounds as a 6'1 PG while Rose is unquestionably more athletic? Does having a triple double with 11+ apg while barely managing 10 ppg really that better from a score-first PG who avgs 25 ppg and 8apg? I think Rondo is out of the question at this point in deciding who is the better player. I know a lot of ya'll would say Dwill/CP3 is still better even though injuries had slowed them down this season... but Rondo? Really? You'd have to be a die-hard Celtic homer to think that.

He's just not perceived as a good passer because he's a score-first point guard, but he's showcased many games where he can be just as good of a playmaker with LESS talent on his team. Rondo is a better defender than Rose though, he's got a longer wingspan and big hands. I'm going to use the excuse of immaturity for Rose's shortcomings on Defense and shot choices... I think those 2 will improve with experience and maturity in the NBA... this is only Rose's third year after all.

Do you think that justifies the Mods for perm. banning me? You still haven't learned. You didn't get banned for having an opinion (few do), it was the manner in which you argued/expressed it. It's not just about what you say, but how you say it as well.

Personally I think D Rose is the MVP this year without a doubt IMO.

If you want to get technical he averaged 16/11/9.2 with 2.7 steals, so not technically a triple double, but 5 rebounds off :p. Still pretty decent numbers to throw down in the playoffs. He averaged that, and somehow the much worse bulls team would have won the series had Rondo been correctly called for a flagrant against brad miller.

Ben Gordon! Kirk Heinrich! Vinny Del Negro! 41-41! They were a bad team, they were .500 in the East which that year translated into about 33 wins in the West. I will agree with you about one thing though: that Celtics team was hurting, and I'll say the reason is that Paul Pierce is way overrated.

lets look at 1-5 and how they matched up rose - rondo = even ben gordon/kirk hinrich - allen/house = even john salmons - pierce = boston advantage tyrus thomas - big baby = chicago advantage (at least athletically) noah - perkins - chicago advantage seems like a great matchup to me, mustve been why it had the most overtimes ever for a playoff series and went to 7 games.
