I don't think any point guard in his rookie year has shown the potential to surpass Jason Kidd, including Jason Kidd, except Magic. I guess I don't believe in potential unless they set the league on fire when they enter the league. Lots of players look good when they enter the nba (otherwise they wouldn't be high draft picks), but not all of them end up as hall of famers. Of 09, Blake and Curry are the only ones I'd be ready to pencil in for an all star career. The rest have to develop some more, and it's just as likely one of the class future all stars will be some later bloomer like Chauncey Billups.

Edit: of 09 Blake, Steph, Evans are near locks. No one knows about Rubio, and DeRozan has the potential. Then you have a number of guys that are going to be solid role players and maybe even better like Blair, Holiday, Hansborough, Jennings, Lawson, Collison, Casspi, Beaubois, Gibson, and Douglass.

Sure the blocks are nice, but his team got blown out, and his team spent a good few minutes trying to feed him his last few points. The Wiz just started feeding him with like 4 minutes to go. But he kept failing when he just needed to get the ball into the bucket one time. Pretty funny to be honest. Just couldn't get the ball in the bucket for 1 more point.

Is it too much to wish for Donald Sterling to get cancer? I'm not sure it is.

I'm not sure it is. I end my daily prayers to the basketball gods that Donald Sterling suffers a massive heart attack becomes incapacitated and Warren Buffett seizes control of the Clippers. Hasn't happened in eight years, but who knows?

Yeah, I don't want him to DIE, just...I dunno, out of the picture? At least Al Davis cares about winning, even if he is totally misguided and insane. Sterling just uses the Clippers as a cash cow, he's never shown that he's cared about winning. I'm just sick of the guy. Edit: GREAT write up by Eric Freeman on Javal Mcgee's triple-double. This is what I mean by low basketball IQ. John Wall has nothing to work with, if this is the 2nd or 3rd best player on his team. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/Video-JaVale-McGee-gets-first-triple-double-em?urn=nba-334203

What did everyone think of OKC with Perkins playing today? Real threat to the Lakers in the West now or still lacking?

He's lucky he was able to pick up a relatively easy put-back because he had buckley's chance of creating his own shot. What did everyone think of OKC with Perkins playing today? With that said, OKC definitely looks a ton more intimidating inside with Perkins.

I found it somewhat infuriating that Miami's big 3 all had to struggle and the bench once again didn't come through. Mike Miller missed like 6 open 3s. Miami was still in it then that missed foul call into a Wade tech into a Erik Spoelstra tech ended them lol.
