I played my tank up to lvl 13 and had much more fun than in some other mmorpg´s. They really took the best things out of some other mmorpg´s together and combined it with a good story so far. I hope the endgame and pvp content will good. I will try some more warrior specs and maybe a rogue spec tonight on the german Server Trübkopf, if u want to join me, whisper me ingame to " Serenade ".

The game doesn't really bring anything new to the genre, but it seems to have made a lot of things right, so far it seems very solid and even polished, extremely few bugs for a beta. (Lets just hope the remaining 30 levels and endgame are as solid.) Oh, and even when the devs start a zonewide event and spawns a TON of rifts and invasions and creates massive chaos, the server remains fairly stable and the FPS is still ok and doesn't drop to 1 as it does in every game in massive battles so that can't be bad either :p Rifts need a better AI though and the crafting system is terrible but that's pretty much the only negative thing I can say so far. It's got the potential to keep me pretty busy until GW2 gets released at least =)

Pros : Dynamic speccing and customization/amazing graphics/cool scenarios created by the rift mechanic requires server large teamwork and socialization. Mediocre story. Cons : If rifts take over and people are being lazy assholes the game is basically unplayable, all the quests are pretty stupid (kill this, get this, activate this) Reminds me of wow Overall i'd say if your looking for an MMO, go play WoW its a much better game more people more things to do and enjoy, much better game overall 27 different types of class you can play overall a very well built game i highly reccomend if you havent already played it.

How is the combat? Is it flexible in terms of movement, similar to WoW? Are there dungeons or instances? What kind of end game content is there? Has anyone tried playing Paladin? Whats a good melee utility class?

I love how people say "This reminds me of WoW" and such, because it makes you sound like an ignorant fool. Is that the only MMORPG you have heard of? Or played? Because you have to understand that all of that existed (repeated boring quests to activate or key your character) way before, ever played EverQuest? That game, created WoW. Dark Age of Camelot? I can go on, but just because it has quests like this, doesn't mean its like WoW. You can only make some quests do so much before you want to gouge your eyes out. By the way, I played in the Beta, and its very very nice, it takes best from all worlds. Hoping the endgame and PvP will be phenomenal, I got a Beastmaster (or whatever they are called) to 20 or so with a Paragon soul, 15/5. The game makes EVERY class unique because each person will most likely approach their specific soul tree in a certain way until someone find the "Meta" spec. I highly recommend this game it was a blast to play and to see some of my favorites from old games. The combat is alright, I found it to be glitchy in some scenarios. In terms of movement, it wasn't as flexible, but I am fine with it since jumping around your targets like you are having a sugar rush is just stupid anyways. Of course there are dungeons/instances. The end game content has not been out for testing yet I have not tried Paladin yet, but EVERY class is a utility. Everyone has specific group buffs that mesh very well with everyone (Paragon had one that increased damage etc).

Could it be that I need to wait until the next beta "phase" starts before they dig through the accounts that have an activated beta key and invite me?
