Most likely to be announced during Blizzcon with the content of the next patch coming with it.
Ya the agenda for D3 was previewing the next season's exclusive items.

The original draft of the agenda mentioned more stash space and something called set dungeons, both were edited out so we don't know if it's a surprise or what. But I think we're all hopeful for more stash space.

Did anybody check out the panel?
I was blown away. It seemed like they completely forgot about the Diablo franchise in the opening ceremony, I thought this was going to a growing pain Blizzcon for Diablo fans if they're working on an expansion.
Last year it was really bad, they did a design an item workshop, and they showed off 1 map and a bunch of colored goblins. It was underwhelming overall.
But THIS year, wow, a lot of tweaks , fixes, monsters, zones, new dungeon/rift content. I was completely blown away from what I expected.
I think the Diablo team is my favorite Blizzard team because of how proactive they are in fixing shit and adding new stuff for players.

The litany/host every-legendary-is-good options are blowing my mind, I can't wait to see what all the new affixes will be.

rework of firebirds, great!
It’s been a long time request for players to have more room to store their treasures, and we’re pleased to announce the technology has arrived!

Hopefully the "revamped" new set version are about equally imbalanced.

A total of 10.4k% dmg boost isn't that outlandish? Current set bonuses when combined will eclipse that for key abilities I think. Only that would work for all abilities.

I wonder. The Helltooth set, for example, gives 900% to major spells for 15 seconds, and IK is 750% or so?
Dashing Strike gets 12500% for 6 seconds in its set.
???
Maybe 1000% does sound more likely. Who knows.

Right, but then you multiply that by F&R buff and legendary gem buffs and you start getting to same kind of crazy numbers.

Maybe 100 or 125% would be better.

Its an easily tweaked number which lets Blizzard balance the bonus against whatever sets are top.

The bonus to damage from all the other non-set legendaries you are wearing will be significant though. It's not like you are replacing the set items with items without legendary abilities.
