I played the closed beta about 2 weeks ago.

After running around getting absolutely lost and confused in the starter maze (i think it was a town) for about 30 min me and my friend finaly found the outside... And promptly got our asses handed to us by a cow standing outside the starter town..... then a mole...

So we were forced to try and find rats to team up on, except everyone else was looking for the same rats in the same general area, and if you wandered farther away you would just run into a pidgy that would 1 shot you.

I'm not even mentioning how horrible and laggy the interface was, the inexplicably complicated and stupid menus, and how incredibly boring it was to try to kill something. (Dragoons start with autoattack. Thats all.)

About 2 hours in we called it quits, level 1, bored + frustrated out of our minds.

Never left a game thinking "This is quite possibly the worst game I have ever played."

sounds like my WoW friend trying ffxi
he whined constantly about the controls until he realized it wasnt WoW
once he got used to it he finally agreed that nothing was wrong

Yeah. But you cant judge the game only on level 1.... And its freaking beta as well... I often listen to player "reviews", but i never listen to the stuff coming from someone who tried the game for 1hr and quit after a couple of minutes. Sorry but thats just not enough testing/trying the game.
