Well he got knighted. So he's probably off enjoying being a lord.

Was totally hoping for more of an epic reaction to the White Walkers being known to the Lords of Westeros, like at least a compilation of shocked faces as everyone reads the note and basically starts saying their death vows. Ending was pretty boring and I couldn't watch because I kept thinking someone is going to fucking stab her in the crowd lol. Dat ending was like a story book ending out of Disney, cue uplifting music, magical creatures and a crowd of joyous people. Now the long wait begins, guess I'll take this time and actually start reading the books. They showed the one who is probably the only one who actually cares, Stannis, and only because the red woman told him. Tywin doesn't believe this kind of thing, Starks are dead, Arryn doesn't care about anything, etc. Lords of Westeros face compilation would make a pretty meh one. Also, this is like every GoT season finale, nothing new here

Surprised that some here were still expecting "shit to go down" when its always ep 9 where this happens. Ep 10 is for picking up the pieces ep 9 left and pointing towards the next season.

Or was there any further information indicating this should be a principle of the series?

I wonder why Bran and them are the "only ones" who can stop the white walkers. Is he going to be able to possess a white walker or something and do... something? And now I'm thinking that Melisandre might be naturally able to predict the future, like Jojen, but control it in a way. That doesn't explain the guy who's able to revive people back from death, however. Interesting how they had Bran talk about a ghost story to emphasis how truly screwed Walder Frey will probably be in the future. I wouldn't be surprised if he got something akin to the Theon treatment. Looks like Stannis will be joining Jon against the white walkers. Not sure who else in Westeros would, though. The Daenerys ending was a bit... unusual. I'm not surprised they ended the episode with her since the producers seem intent on following the hot/cold pattern of the seasons. Fantastic episode throughout though. It's an especially proper way to end the half of a book.

Arya and the Hound seem like a such a cool duo but Arya seems to have irrational hate for the Hound (he was just following orders, and he DID save Sansa) and the Hound lost his reason to keep Arya around (he was gonna use her as a bargaining chip). Arya using the coin to call Jaq is kind of scaring me, because I think she's using it to kill off the Hound. I don't want him to die off, he's such a cool character when he's paired up with Arya. Does anyone think the scene when she's using the coin hints that she's using it verse the Hound?

Jaq gave her the coin with instructions to say valar morgulis to another bravosii and you'll get something unexpected in return or something?

- Arya seeing another member of her family beheaded. - Peter Dinklage's little line: "Who?- Whom?" in the scene when they are walking with Sansa. Wonder if that was scripted. - Jaime's arrival. - The final scene. Very emotional overall, more than the previous episode. Yeah, to find Jaquen Arya needs to give the coin to a Braavosi.

Arya + The Hound are giving a good run for Tyrion + Bron as my favorite tag team, awesome. Tywin sending Joffrey to bed without dinner in front of everyone, awesome, and hilarious. Theon gets what he deserves, awesome. Cersei seems to actually be sane, instead of the vindictive bitch she was shown to be for most the show... mixed feelings. She's great when she's psycho. Jon shows his vows are more important to him than love... kinda sad. I'm kind of sad about Davos; his kid ended up dead, but his loyalty remains despite the religious fanaticism and an evil witch at the helm... really sad. Danny is just a mediocre actress, which is a shame, because her character is awesome. I'm growing to love the Boltons though, and Roose is just acted out to perfection. ... now, Joffrey and Balon Greyjoy are going to die due to that curse thingamabob, I'm not sure if I'm happy with that. I've learned to love the downright psychotic Joffrey for being, well, psychotic. And Balon Greyjoy is a great target for my hate, so it better be a horrible, extremely graphic and painful death. As to Frey, after that story Bran told... well, I hope I'll enjoy my torture-porn scenes staring him now, and not only Theon. To all the people raging so hard; do what I do. Revel in the suffering of the characters you hate. GRRM appears to do the same (dammit, I liked Cat). I'm going to need to think this season through very well before I make my list of who dies next season. And I need to do this when my girlfriend (read all the books already, that evil, evil woman) isn't around. This episode was a fantastic wrap-up and gave a lot to think about for next season. I will enjoy making predictions and hope they'll fail (I was expecting Tyrion to be on the fatality list this season, was pleasantly surprised). edit: I'm silly.
