Refer to #1
EDIT:
Let me clarify: Just because you are hit in the thigh there is no guarantee that the femoral (or popliteal) artery is hit. That he is still alive upon arrival to the castle suggests it wasn't, but really we have no idea from just watching the show.

The finale was good but not great, why did they have to use the Dany scene in the end.... that was lame. Was that beheaded Robb and his wolf on a stick on the horse and Arya watching at the same time ??? CMON how cruel they need to be to her.
I think they couldnt make it more obvious what will happen to Arya in the future , Sandor has been really awesome in the last couple of episodes after he and Arya started traveling together. They have such an awesome chemistry going on ( not in a sexusal way ) .
This war will be nothing in the end and everyone will forget about it, dont know if Arya will forget though.

Arya!!!!
And Jorah's facial expression at the end scene there lol. It's like he's about to snap soon cuz suddenly everyone loves Dany now when she has some backing with her dragons and army while Jorah was the first to take her side when she was nothing and he gets nothing in return for his efforts.
Love sucks, Go Jorah 2014!

lol I second this. They are definitely the high point of the show right now. Also, Tywin and Joffrey's relationship is hilarious. I wish they had shown Tywin's reaction to Jaime. Expected more than Cersei's agape. Meh Wish the season finale had more pizzazz, but it'd be silly to have high hopes after an episode like The Red Wedding. It was a good send-off, nonetheless. I think I'll read the books during the hiatus.

I thought the finale was great, but not in a heart-in-your-mouth exciting sort of way. More emotionally great. Like Ygritte freaking shot Jon man, not cool. And any scene that includes both Tywin and Tyrion is always going to be good.

Major arteries give me the chills.... I think what the guy is thinking of is that if you break your leg you will never walk the same, you'll always have a limp afaik. I think if his artery WAS hit, he would have definitely bled out before arriving. I'm not a doctor but maybe getting an infection in the area would mess with the artery? I dno.
It was a pretty good episode. Mostly to consolidate things and set up next season. Jaimie is back home, cersei hasn't said anything about it yet. Theon is finally gonna be rescued maybe. Tensions are rising between Tyrion and Joffrey. Seriously, how cool is that Tywin doesn't give two shits about Joffrey, it was so epic how he threw a temper tantrum. "Im.. NOT.. TIRED!!" lol what a bitch. I really like the dynamics between Tirion and Tywin, it's interesting how they interact on an intellectual level. I hope there relationship gets better.. The trouble with Shae is becoming more apparent. Nothing really new with Daenerys, still being that badass good girl Gina. I was really hoping Bran was going to see Jon again, but atleast he's back with the Night's Watch now. The big thing is that the news of the White Walkers has got out.
My favorite part was when Arya overheard those dudes talking, so badass how she acted all innocent and weak, then JAB JAB JAB into his neck. Brutal. All i could think of was (in Katt William's Voice), shouldn't have been talkin shit. lol

Finale just felt like a bridge to the next season. Fucking anticipation!!!
Anyone else think the scene with Theon's sister was really badass?
Also the story about the cook who was cursed by the gods was certainly soothing. Can't wait to see what happens to the Freys.

TEAM YARA!!

Looks like Sam got the last laugh at those who bashed him for dropping the dagger. Actually, i'm kinda surprised he carries a bunch of them like loose change.

Fuck, season over.
And so my wait(ing) begins...

So to sum up what we have in store the next few seasons: Bran and his posse going beyond the wall Jaime/Cersei back together Stannis doing something vs the walkers. Dany and her army of "free people + dragons" Yara fucking up that Roose Bolton bastard Arya and The Hound being a pair of badass ninja assasins :D

I was pleased with how efficiently the Hound killed those three Freys.
No nonsense, just brute force and efficiency. A true veteran.

Sam was the one who picked up the package at the fist of the first men. but the little girls here prefered to bash him instead of remembering that he has a stash of the stuff

Ya I never understood what everyone was going on about. Sam had grab at least 2 dozen of them if not more.

That was for me indeed the best scene. Realizing that all those Sam-haters "Oh no!!! Fatty dropped the insta-kill-dagger!" were proven false. And that in BAWS-style!
