Deals with similar themes from a different perspective. Short book. Starts out a bit tedious but compensates for it towards the end.

Siren's was just a bit to silly to be taken seriously as a satire (which sounds ridiculous - it's kin d of Hitch Hicker's Guide to the Galaxy meets Catch-22), also Galapagos represents the pinnacle of Vonnegut's writing style and sense of irony.

+ Show Spoiler + ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm taking it slow with Atlas Shrugged because it's not for school and I do other stuff than purely reading, but Frankenstein, A Man For All Seasons and The Tragedy of Macbeth are all for school (we're doing the latter purely in class). I also just read Man's Search for Meaning by VIctor Frankl for school within the last 2 weeks or so.

I'll probably end up reading Bless Me, Ultima because it appears well acclaimed and renown. Unless someone else has a passionate suggestion haha

![]() Has a couple classic essays by Foucault, including the one where he says "one day, perhaps, this century will be called Deleuzian." I found the interviews with Foucault in the last section the most interesting. ![]()
