Bambina's sex does not necessarily match its etymological sex. At a guess, I'd say Bambina and most of the eight kings probably can reproduce asexually, so I guess we can call them female?

Would you just call it by its species name? We would call an amoeba an amoeba because it doesnt need/have gender. Likewise for a starfish. I can't think of any other examples but I would imagine they're the same.
