After searching through the general forum, I notice that there is a lack of Toriko thread. Toriko has slowly become one of my favorite mangas, and it is getting more and more popular in Japan too. Thus, I thought why not create this thread, since there is currently none.
Obviously this thread contains spoilers, so read at your own caution.
Toriko:
In the world where the taste and texture of food are very important, there is Toriko, a hunter of precious foods regularly hired by restaurants and the rich. He's a man with the inhuman skills necessary to capture the ferocious, evasive, and rare animals to complete his ultimate dinner course! His current accomplice is a weak, timid person who was inspired by Toriko's greatness and accompanies him on all his journeys on his quest for the course of his life.

i watched the animation when it first aired and i was really taken back to the dragonball days, except toriko was just so awesome. the anime is now not as exciting as the first 20 or so episodes, so i might begin reading to keep up from now on~
the characters, the humor, the absolute craziness... it was like i was a little kid again with how ridiculous the entire show was.
unfortunately, i don't like admitting to being a little kid at heart, so it may be a manga that i read in secret :>!

For the 4 heavenly kings, Sani is my favorite, cus he is bea'tiful, and you're GROAAAAAAHSSSSSSSSS!!
+ Show Spoiler +That was unfunny, but given the latest chapter sani does scream that and his anger is the best in this manga, toriko is a bit too... "timid" in that like coco he is a nice guy but he is not nearly as reserved as coco is, he is just the over all good guy which can make him boring from time to time
Really cool manga, I would definitly recommend it for laughter and hunger inducing moments!

I just watched the first two episodes, it's really awesome but man if you are a vegan you are going to cry.
It reminds me in a way of Chuuka Ichiban. I'm currently watching the anime, how does it compare to the manga?
