Same way that after the group stages are over and the brackets are set a 14-0 record doesn't matter and neither does an 8-6.
Getting to the end of each bracket is what matters, and it's easier staying through in the winner's bracket. Regardless, there is an advantage, and the best team won according to the format.

Amazing strategies from them. Out thinking Puppey - though he was being a bit less brilliant today - is impressive.
But yeah... iG proved me wrong. They had the composure. They had the strategies. They had the plays.
Congrats to iG.
In the words of XBOCT: well deserved. I think IG had an advantage when they stopped first picking Naga. That was what made it easy for navi to set up the right counter when they faced IG in the winner's bracket.

It doesn't matter what the score was coming from WB.
iG won 3 straight games after losing 1.
They would've won either way.
Credit where it is due.
Beating Na'Vi in three straight matches is unbelievable coming from LB.

Surprising that they don't have rules about that sort of stuff. Where's KESPA when you need them? You can't let players type what ever they want it's disgraceful.
He was also the most demonstratively congratulatory towards iG after they lost. So it's not like he's disgraceful.

You're overreacting quite much, if you think XBOCT is bad mannered, lol.

Exactly. It's bs that ig lost a series and could stay in but navi couldn't.

Na'Vi lost only one Impracticle in dota unless you want to dedicate the entire day to just the grand finals.
1 map advantage seems fair, they did that last year

Puppey clapping in the booth after they lost just proved how much of a fucking boss he is.

CHUAN KILLED HIS GAME LOL

I don't quite understand what people want? Guys waving flags, hugging, puppey lifting Chinamen up, Gabe Newell saying thanks a great trophy. Not like 14 pretty girls are going to give them a BJ on stage.
Oh wait, I forgot a huge check. =(
