That's some serious understatement. During the entire game he had just one sub-par ravage (the comback wipe from LGD) and died like 2 times in total. That's pretty close to a perfect game on Tide if you ask me (the only perfect games you get are pretty much when you stomp your enemy and he can't fight back, but really great performances are shown in games such as this). Yeah pretty much, most were solid ravages, there could have been a tad better timings but I guess I'm used to see him with more flashy plays

Draft loss game 1, they played the fights well towards the end but you can't come back form losing that bad against a good team.
Game 2 was a complete 180, such a good game plan and solid execution. Come on boys, keep going

Very happy for Liquid!
But while the panel is hyping up Jerax, for me it is MinD_ContRoL who is the mvp of not only this series but the tournament so far. Back when they started as 5Jungz he was clearly the worst player on the team, he had good games but was very inconsistent, could only really play 2 heroes and was quite bad at farming. Now look at him, almost flawless execution every fight, really good farm(except on Slardar) and has a pretty decent hero-pool. If not mvp he is clearly the most improved player in the last year.

Yeah it feels like MC can play literally any hero now and do well.
|
Both Jerax and MC were really really good this series. And yeah, people were shitting on them holding the other 3 from Liquid down a couple months ago.
That weaver was really good (as it should have been in the game) and his slardar was on point. And Jerax with the lv6 mid with an amazing egg when newbee's supports still on lv4 or something like that? And after that with the midas, early 11 and just amazing egg after amazing egg. Granted Dusa ult makes it easier later in the game but you don't get there without that early performance.
And can we please not forgot the 23k networth Disruptor? I don't even know what it ended up being at the end of the game

What a draft in that last game.

Lets go Liquid. I believe!!! Major winners plz
|
And to think that one year ago we were wondering if there will ever be a TeamLiquid Dota team to support again. Nazgul rewards our believes boys.
|
like i said countless times, best decision from nazgul ever. they became such an amazing team... from the past liquid teams, who were always borderline t2/t1, to one of the best dota teams of the world. now they only have to win this bo5, to become legends;) LIQUID RISING!!!!

F A M I L Y
We can do it!! Pick a draft that shows your friendship!!

The reason Liquid are doing so well is no individual performance by the way. It's their teamwork and communication with the best teamfight execution we might have ever seen. Time after time you see them messing up especially midgame only to bring out of this world execution when it really matters and win games they really shouldn't.
And that's because how people click Kuro - the often egotistical leader, low key but powerful shot caller and drafter Jerax - the quiet genius prodigy Fata - the professional, what else to say Matumba - the team troll and jester, with outburst potential who paradoxically is very consistent ingame. MC - Damn I don't really know his personality - the quiet focused one who keeps radically improving?
The chemistry is just right, Fata will always work hard, Jerax will never get cocky/egotistical, and as long as Matumba will keep his trolly cockiness in check after winning TI and being a millionaire this team has the potential of being the new long term consistent force in gaming, always succesfull so long as their leader can keep with the best strategists out there. Because this is the first time ever he has exceptionally skilled teammates without strong clashing egos in the form of Xboct or Arteezy that distracted the team from the common goal, and Kuroky from leading

that dusa was genius, brilliantly played as well from liquid ofc
liquid all the way!
|
FATA having a limited hero pool, what are they even talking about? Have you seen these games on Dusa and Timber?
|
Fata is usually a bit streaky and plays one or two heroes almost exclusively for a bit. Like on sigma.int he was more or less the only one who played Invoker or Brewmaster almost every game. And of course Razor last Fall. Seems this is why people still think his hero-pool is limited.

WP boys, sadly OG was just a bit too much to handle today.
Looking forward to the rematch in finals of TI! With a different outcome ofc
