Do you know if anyone is streaming it? I haven't seen anything around.

It was streamed.
Sadly Matu and the rest lost the finals 1:2! Urza didn't work out...

I talked to someone from Liquid during ESL One Hamburg!
And I basically got confirmation, that there really is a hand injury and is not a"stupid excuse" for not playing at Dreamleague.
But because it wasn't really in our discussion; it just got mentioned, I have no further information about the team!

Mind_Control is a stand-in for NIP, so we see a little bit of Liquid at the Major now...

... Guess they took this "opportunity" ... Hope we will see them...

Careful with the hopes and guesses man. Hope and guess are not facts. People may get pissed.

FACT - I will be rooting for NiP this major, apart from VP, ofcourse.

Cheer up man, and fuck the hater's. You are one of my favourite people here in the Liquid thread, i like your posts a lot. dont let one guy ruin your mood;)

Yeah Nip for me too, gotta support my boy fata-

That moment when you scroll through your timeline and just vaguely skim over and see "Kuroky" and "retirement" in one tweet, but then it's just about Artifact :D

Top 4 artifact player in the world, with a better semifinals draw might have been the second best

MC and NIP won against EG! Nice!
And a 15/4 ES in the third game for him!

That happened to me too. Saw Kuro and retire in one post and my heart stopped. Then the Artifact part helped a lot

I'm very glad they took this break because it did look like the entire last year was rough for them. Yes, they were successful throughout the entire season, but I don't think good finishes are a replacement for a good rest.

Thanks, Merano for sharing this interview. Now we know for sure that they really needed a break. MC said that he was happy that TI was over, and then that they took "seriously" the qualifiers, but it didn't work out with a smile on his face.
Im glad he now feels refreshed and ready to play he already had some memorable moments with NiP this tourney, more to follow, seems (this word is exclusively for infinity) the others are too - Kuro playing Artifact tourneys, Matu and the others are playing more and more pubs, more streaming etc.

No matter what you do, and how much you love doing it - you always need a couple of months break every year. Hell, even Hamilton said that he will quit F1 if they make the races 25 after year 2020.

Well the team need some changes to invogerate yhe hunger. I hope liquid could find another good coach.

I felt like the team has fell a tad short last dpc season. Maybe because of gh nerfed or maybe because of slow to adapt.

I believe "not feeling well" was an excuse. Last year they got burned out so hard, i could feel the fatigue from watching them playing ingame. Its a good time to figure out what to do now. Multi TI title is the highest bar now. I doubt any teams could do it with how icefrog loves to nerf the shit out of top team heroes pool.

It will be interesting for me to know more about the actual role of the coach in dota? How does the coach help during bootcamps, between games, after patches, before matches, during drafts etc.?
Imo a good coach in dota has to be more of a psychologyst than anything else - especially between games during important matches and during the drafts. All the captains in the top teams have the experience and the knowledge of the game to make a good draft. Then why they get outdrafted hard sometimes? When a captain is called as an analyst @ the panel and he comments other drafts, he is always perfect - sees what the one and the other team wants to do and calls the counters to each draft. But why he can't do it every time within the booth? Maybe he gets overconfident with his draft, maybe he underestimates opponents players and heroes? Maybe he gets carried away by his teamates ideas? What does a coach do to eliminate those risks? Damn it really is hard to be a good coach in this game...

P.S. Thank you Heen for all you've done for Liquid Dota! Good luck in your future endevours!

What qualifiers do you mean?
I thought the next possibility to watch Liquid was for the MegaFon Winter Clash in like 3 weeks
