There series record against mostly tier 1 teams is 95-7-17. None of their players have performance problems. All players have ebbs and flows in their performance. Reqarding a massive total of 2 series at Starladder where they went 1-4. A) Malaysia caught them off completely guard with aggression in game 1. Game 3 was probably 60:40 their adv pregrame, but they lost. it happens. B) They had a horrible draft in game 1, and had almost no chance of winning pregame. Game 2 they could've banned wisp sniper, but they didn't. Still, they were winning until the debacle at Rosh. Both series were easily winnable. Things like this happen. Please don't over react to a sample size of 2 series. Did people forget their recent series against CLoud9? Secret could've easily gotten 3rd at Starladder. It just didn't work out this time. TLDR; Secret is fine | ||

Since it probably flew over your head, the post was referring to those who are waiting for Secret to lose only to come here and complain about how they were always overrated. As if having fans somehow diminishes any result that's not a huge tournament win. They do have some obvious problems atm, not just because of their loss at SL but also the way they lost. Still don't see how their fanbase is relevant to their performance now, the same way I don't see how it was relevant when they were doing better. This just seems like an oportunity for cheap shots from people who can't stand seeing a team being popular. | ||

Even then, some of those wins were so sketchy. I'm much more interested in what they're going to do in 6.84 though. The talent is obviouly there and as long as they're still motivated a new patch could be what they need. I'd still say they're the best team in EU though. Cloud 2 might be more consistent but Secret always seems to roll them in the head to head games. | ||

Secret has lost 1 out of the 17 matches between DAC and Starladder LAN. Alltime have they have a 80% winrate which is pretty unmatched by anyone. I don't wanna claim they are #1 Western (and certainly not overall), but its ridicoulous how many people shit on Secret when they have one bad LAN. | ||

The new secret were never doing better then they are doing now, both times when push came to shove (after qualifier matches) they choked really early in lanfinals with their 5 so called toptier players. So yes, if they choke some more, dotafans just jump ship to support a winning team, thats what they have allways done. I wonder what will happen if god forbid, they choke on their 3rd lan, because managers dont like repetative results without progress. Ofcourse i want to see secret at ti, but im not convinced they will not choke again. | ||

EG wins a tournament with 2nd highest prizepool in history of Esports? Some hype here and there but fans aren't half as annoying as the Secret fans and EG fans actually have a reason to be annoying, their team won unlike Secret who wasn't won anything and yet is hyped a whole lot more than teams that actually win stuff. I don't like Secret, I have my reasons and I don't think anybody cares about them but what I do hate is a part of their fanbase that is obnoxious to say the least. | ||
