If EE died in a permasprout to bomb out of the tournament I'm pretty sure there'd by about 5 pages of 'kick EE' by now.
Hating EE is a religion. It's all about fitting facts to the predetermined narrative.

Don't worrry you felt that way because your understanding of dota is poor. Come on do you really think it's possible to win a major playing 4v5? Words were chosen to convey particular meanings not to be interpreted freely. Don't worrry you felt that way because your understanding of dota is poor. Come on do you really think it's possible to win a major playing 4v5? Why you even try dude..... i mean the closest performance/single desicion i saw the last few months, that lead to a Team victory by a singel player was EEs 2x Rapier game vs EG, and his unconventional Rapier with slark vs Liquid this Major. Let the haters hate Yes, EE's double rapier ember play got them their finals in frankfurt. It was also EE's play that made them so dependant on it, he cornered his own team into an inflexible strategy. And That rapier build on slakr did nothing but risk throwing, the game was won. he could've bought anything at that point and still win, he could've even went abyssal vs bkb heavy team. but no, EE's gonna EE. Wow, the ignorance of this post is just beyond. It was EE's fault that the team had to go double rapiers, cornering them into that strategy, and they won with it so its also his fault they won? What kind of mental gymnastics is going on here. EE is one of if not the best carry in the scene today. It's easy to make anything seem ignorant if you just read what you want and not what its written.

Both he and w33 had buyback, the bigger problem was Puppey and PLD got caught when Liquid went highground After Secret defend their last rax, Draskyl even points out that what set them so far behind was the two supports getting caught, because w33 and EE having BB meant they could've made a high ground defense

Rewatching some of these/looking at some plays in PLD's PoV, really impressed especially with his positioning and his skill decision making. My favorites were around 0:50 (stops exactly out of ravage range) the fight ~2:55 after buybacks (also barely skirts out of ravage, probably a little by accident this time), 4:15, and 8:00

It's all about fitting facts to the predetermined narrative. Well on the other hand, people are also very quick in calling him the best carry in the world. He just gets a lot of attention, good or bad. Which tournament was it, where he played ember all the time? there were like 10 threads on the dota reddit frontpage, about how great ee is.

I don't think so, the twitch vod is also muted due to music on twitch but they've uploaded their other stuff on youtube so maybe that will come there later too so I can listen to it again. I can understand most of it and could translate a bit but maybe there would be some fully native speakers willing to do it here. Would be cool to see Alright here is the PLD interview after WB finals against TL. It's in Swedish, I'll recap it a bit but if I get something wrong feel free to correct me, I'm not a native speaker. - Interviewer calls PLD "Lion king" to start - He says they hadn't played that much Slark, so the problem was they weren't really taking any fights. And then they did a small series of mistakes and Liquid got 2 lanes - He says that the decision to buy divine was 100% EE, he was suggesting abyssal and EE was just shaking his head and bought a divine - He talks about the fight near the rosh pit which turned the game where he blinked just a few inches to dodge an autoattack. He says that he felt all the time that he was going to live and was calm. - He says that in the beginning of the game he felt he was playing close to perfect, but later on he was jumping the gun a bit and going too close and just getting killed by DP/OD in fights - I don't understand this completely, but I think he says that after w33 died next to their base (starting the events that lead to them losing 2 rax) PLD got a bit mad because 5 seconds earlier he had been there and had thought it's too dangerous and went back, and w33 just proceeded to walk there and get caught - Puppey calmed them down and then EE took control of what the team should do after that

It amazes me how team secret can play SO intelligently in some games, but then the next game they just don't seem to be able to execute their game plan at all. I feel this team can only beat themselves, cause each player on secret is insanely good. When they fail to execute cohesively as a team is the only way these guys can lose imo.
