Misery I saw because Zai is just frankly too good to leave out. Barring really Universe, I think Zai looks good for almost any team. w33 though, I thought w33 had proved himself even if it came down to figuring out his patch heroes and going from there.

Both should be pretty proud of waht they did either way.

Hope EE and Puppy know what they're doing so late into the window.

If we're talking sheer individual talent then Secret just became #1 powerhouse team. I'm really excited to see how this iteration works out. Plus we get ArtEEzy back so that's hype as shit.

This is a great move, because now the trolling of Secret being an NA team isn't even trolling. Welcome to NA Team Secret fans.

Looks like it. CyborgMatt says they're not attending the recently announced SL iLeague invitational.

I grew fond of both w33ha and misery so I'll cheer for them in tournaments Secret is not playing or if Secret is already out. IT's a shame they did it so close to the roster lock, DotA is cruel indeed.

NEVERTHELESS I'm hyped for ArtEEzy and UNIVERSE HYPE

Not sold on this lineup. Reason being that I see 2 farm heavy cores in the lineup. Rtz is quite an inflexible mid imo. Previous eg and secret had Mason fear and s4 to take on the safe lane play making role if necessary, while I don't see envy capable of doing it. W33 was able to play play making heroes as well. This acquisition limits secret style of play and make them heavily reliant on universe puppey and pld to make plays.

Also who is going to play the naga now?

nah this is the dream

EE was the perfect player to complement RTZ, and has always been.

We saw that at MLG 2013.

EG was broken with Sumail and RTZ, possibly the most inflexible pairing of all time. Now that was two farm heavy cores that had no idea how to work together.

RTZ is (or at least was) capable of playing playmaking mids and expressed interest in playing that style again. I would like to think Puppey and EE are smart enough guys to know what they are getting into when bringing in RTZ, especially since EE and RTZ are BFFs

I really don't think that's true of sumail and RTZ. It's a popular opinion that I never actually saw play out in a game, just people hind-sighting losses and ignoring wins. Can you link a draft secret did where EE needs a mountaiin of farm and W33 is spacemaker where Sumail and RTZ can't play those heroes?

EG's losses against Secret (who was their main cockblock of losse since TI5) was predominantly draft related.

Most of Secret's good runs didn't come with w33 on traditional space creating heroes imo. Sure, he played heroes that could get pickoffs when Secret did their usual spreading of the map (with heroes like WR, Invoker, shadowblade SF, Meepo, Lina), but mostly his heroes were farmers, not heroes that try to make a lot of moves early or lead the team in early fights. Earth Spirit imo being the only exception that we saw at least a few times.

In general on EE's teams I think there's space for farmers, whether it is the second core or if the farm is more spread out on everyone else. He is not really a player who spends the entire game farming his own jungle. He's certainly not known for playing traditional initiators or something, but he can play heroes that can move early and give space to his team just fine. But it'll be interesting to see how Arteezy does on various different heroes. I wouldn't be surprised if he shines on this team.
