S4 can play from behind, bulldog can only farm from behind (personal opinion).

Alliance's downfall came when other teams started to shut down s4 early game so he can't get online fast enough to control the game mid game. And the patch of course but yeah, my point is i don't think it's a good trade.

A couple of wrong decisions and Loda should have dropped the wand for the aegis. They seemed to get initiated on all the time too.

The problem was letting razor getting to use static link on gyrocopter in about every single fight. Bulldog should have gone blink to doom the razor.

FNG denying the Shadow Fiend and first blooding S4 gimped Alliance so hard. We wanted Nuts to snowball, but instead of quick farm and some levels Nuts got nothing. There's still hope, though!

Cant deny that I am disappointed. Even tho 9th-12th was kinda expected, the hopes are always higher than reality. You know, 'cuz feels aren't listening to reason. =/

There were plenty of moments that could have turned the entire thing around, for example the timing on Loda getting his BKB in game 1, the deaths on S4 0.1 seconds before getting his split off on numerous occasions in game 1.
Akke's silenced chain frost at bottom rune in game 2...
Aaah, but then again, VP played that one really well and it was not a fluke that they won.

Alliance put up a fight in game 1 and some things change here and there and maybe things could have been different. Ah well gg wp to vp they are a very good team and Alliance just need to not get put down so hard by this loss.

Man that was a hard tourney for the guys (and us lol) , I felt they played scared (and drafted scared) , Brew first game last pick was out of this world comfort pick .... i wish they can stick together and improve their hero pool , not running Ember spirit is a nono for top tier teams in this patch , I miss the Akke Visage as well  AB played really well throughout this major , giving away SF is our downfall in every game we let it through i wish we had a winrate stat on how we do against that hero we never shut it down and we never out scale it.
If they can have a good Ember + SF in their pool the winrate will go up i have no doubt.

Well they faced 2 quality teams and loss 0-2 each. I'd say that is expected.
They faced 2 mediocre teams, and went 0-2 and 1-0. I'd say that is disappointing.
Seems like an s4 choke though.

im sad.. alliance lost.. oh well.. if u look at the teams still left in the tournament there is no real shame finish after those guys..
however.. best thing to cheer myself up after an alliance loss? go over to the reddit /Dota2/new section.. hi-la-ri-ous.. im glad the alliance team stir up so much emotion from "anti"-fans :D

Before the majors it felt like A had a great deal of strategies and they were able to swap positions and lanes between Loda, bulldog and s4. This is generally a good thing. But I feel that they haven't practiced it enough vs top tier teams, so they actually for short on all of those. Not many top teams swap lanes and positions like they do, and therefor get better laning phases etc.
